We were in Mt. Dora for the Arts Festival - and when we are in Mt. Dora - we always eat at Pisces Rising. We had a reservation for an early dinner and the restaurant was pretty empty at that time. The hostess took us to a table in the back in a corner - and I asked if we could sit near a window (to watch the sunset) so she moved us. Ordered our dinner - asked for salad and bread to come out before the halibut (special). We waited at least 10 minutes for our drinks to come and...
It was a beautiful day so we sat outside and enjoyed the music. Food was excellent. Generous portions beautifully presented. Although busy our waitress was very attentive. We received a very delicious complimentary dessert for my niece's birthday...an unexpected treat . Will most definitely go back.
Dinner was a very nice experience: the server, Jackie, was so nice and very good. The food was fantastic (the salmon dinner for me and the spicy chicken sandwich for hubby). For dessert we shared the chocolate cake and it was big and delicious!
