Ahhhh, now here's a true Italian restaurant, with outstanding food and drink. They offer a good selection of familiar Italian dishes, plus a good variety of nightly specials. Last night, they offered a Chilian sea bass( one of the best !) , 2 specially prepared veal dishes ( the one with cheese toppings was excellent !) , lobster ravioli ( 5...good, but too salty for my taste). Service was excellent, but young staff could use a little more training in how to approach patrons when serving, and clearing dishes.
The setting is very good, but noisy as the larger octagonal room fills up. This is due to all surfaces (walls, floor and ceiling)
being hard and reflecting sound. And unfortunately , only the ceiling offers an opportunity for some remedy. There are several other seating areas to chose from, if your party is 2 or 4. Great bar, and staff as well. Enjoy 😉 !

Gnocchi al gorgonzola is the best dish ever!!!

Wonderful meal with the best server. Albero! He’s the best. The food was fabulous. Ossoboco yummy. Pasta exceptional.

First time. Once orders were placed, waiter vanished: no more wine, cocktails, food good? Zip!
I had the special pounded veal chop parm. Took most home.
What!! Once home, the untrained busboy cut off the bone so he could fit dinner into styrofoam container!

Also, as we were waiting for our salads, a server came to an adjacent table and placed his accoutrements for serving on our table: cheese, pepper…

Wait! There is more: our salads were so mixed-up by servers or kitchen. Once served, no offer of fresh ground pepper or cheese.

We had reservations. Promptly seat. Server was missing in action all evening and the Jumbo Lump Crab Pasta had no flavor. Total bill for 4 was $500 ish, no problem with that if the food & server had been great but it wasn’t. At the end we received a “sorry about that” for the lack of server.

Very delicious food and great service from Jon-Paul will definitely go back!!

If you’re looking to overspend on your meal, this would be the place. Hoping for great customer service? You would be better off at a Wendy’s. Wanting an enjoyable Cesar salad? Best bring your own parm flakes to add to the few in the salad.
