Very, very, very disappointed.... Why??? It wasn't Bites!!! It was a different restaurant with a different menu!!! No notification that it was a different restaurant... I should have been notified by OPEN TABLE!!! Or The Ritz... Not a happy camper...will not be going back!!
Everything was very good but we were disappointed in the menu. Having experienced the "Bites" menu over the years we we disappointed at the new menu.
Why is this called Bites? It was a dinner menu and high prices on everything. We expected a standup kind of appetizer grazing situation if it is called Bites. Service very slow. Took over 20 minutes to get a cocktail.
Bites is under renovation. Open table did not mention that. When we arrived, we were told the menu was from the Italian restaurant in the hotel. The food was delicious though we were disappointed it was not what we had signed up for.

Actually renamed lobby Cafe. Modeled after terraza which is currently closed. Food is delicious, service great and good for people watching in lobby. Very pricey though, but it's the ritz so what do you expect? You also have great live music starting at 6 pm. Chris was the best on piano. Recommend it.
The appetizers and drinks are great! However the main dishes have a lot to be left to desire. I would not eat dinner here again, but a nice option for a cocktail and a small bite!
So Excited for the evening and it turned out awful... we came at 6:30 and the service was poor every step of the way. Ordering drinks, ordering dinner, cleaning table to 2-1/2 hours later we got our food. I complained to the hostess and front desk and nothing was done. Asked to speak to manager and nobody came to the table. It was not Ritz quality. Sad thing about it, I have reservations next weekend
No longer a “lite bites” menu. Now a more expansive selection with full service pricing. But —— the guy playing the piano and singing. Couldn't have been any louder. Conversation at far end of restaurant was difficult. Don't go to the Ritz to listen to a Barry Manilow wannabe wailing at the top of his lungs.
Disappointed looking forward to tapas that use to be on menu. Two people at our table order pasta / the papperdale and the spaghetti and meatballs both dishes the pasta was over cooked and gummy. Would not come back!!

Always a pleasure to visit the RC at Christmas and see the stupendous Gingerbread House, huge tree, and all of the other decorations. Great people watching, too. Food and service were excellent. We'll return again, sooner rather than later.
Unfortunately, Bites, which we have enjoyed in Christmases past, was disappointing last night. The service was poor, even though the restaurant was never more than half full. The menu has changed for the worse, from genuine bites to some appetizers and a stab at full and expensive entrees. When the entrees finally came, they had been overcooked. Perhaps on a heating tray too long. We then gave up on dissert.
We were very disappointed that the lobby level café had changed from bites. The menu changed completely and we were disappointed that we couldn't package things together and make it work for our group. The meal was fine but it's very awkward that it seemed like a regular restaurant as opposed to a very special setting for champagne and small bites.
Another great dinner at The Ritz. We dined in the lobby under the towering Christmas tree with live music commentating the season. The lobby was decorated with a giant edible gingerbread house. It was a festive night with friends. We were even confirmed to be on the good list by a staff member and given a cookie.
It's just okay. Food okay nothing special fir the price. Only thing good was the large tree and gingerbread house in lobby. Service stared off good then went downhill. It's a place to have a drink and nothing else. Octopus was not good and chocolate cake for dessert tasted old.
