Very attentive server. Many of the mussels were unopened or cracked. Server did offer to bring more out. Spaghetti with clams was bland. Pasta was well cooked.

Went to the Cakebread Wine dinner here last night. The food was great but the wine pours were extremely small and disappointing. Asked for a little more wine - nope. Paid a lot for the wine dinner - therefore a terrible value. Will go back for the food …..but NEVER for a wine dinner!!!

We had a awesome lunch today at Casa Cotzelli. The young server from Rome is so professional and took care of us. We could speak Italian!! Awesome !

Hmm. Where to begin? We had reservations for Sunday night at 6:00 pm. They were not busy. Drinks were okay. When offered bread we had no utensils. I had to find a server. For dinner, we ordered the “special”. Spaghetti and meatballs. This took about 45 minutes. The waitresses disappeared. When the meal arrived it was lukewarm. No cheese or peppers; we had to ask. Two bites and we were done. Chef boyardee has better spaghetti. We refused to eat it. The owner apologized and did not change us. Nice but we will not return. The missing utensils were in the bar. Since you have me on video, you’ll know that I had to go and find a person in the kitchen to get napkins. We never did get utensils to butter our bread. Your sauce might be “special“ but it still had no taste. As you stated you have assigned camera, we had two bites even after seasoning it and decided it was not worth eating. We had to consistently look for our waitress. And, we asked three times to turn the heater on. Thank you for not charging us. But there are better places to eat in Naples.

This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. The 1st time I would have given 5 stars across the board. Last night for New Years I cant say the same. The service and atmosphere was great the wait staff is extraordinary and very friendly. The food was not worth what we ended up paying. I had surf and turf (steak and scallops) The scallops were so fishy tasting and had a strange smell. I ended up not eating the scallops after one bite was afraid of getting sick. The steak was OK asked for medium got rare and there was a lot of fat. There were 4 of us at dinner 2 people ordered the lasagna and both people said it was cold. My husband ordered the osobuko not sure if that is how you spell it but he did not like it all. After all that our bill was close to $1000 including tip. We only had one bottle of wine and 4 cocktails before dinner. We knew going into it that we would be spending some money becuse it was New Years eve and would not have minded if we could have had a dinner like the 1st time we went. I'm only guessing they were overwhelmed last night with all the people they were serving. I will try going back to give it another chance and chalk last night up a lesson learned. Hopefully when I go back I get the 5 star food I originally enjoyed.

I Moved here from NY a few years ago by myself just in time for when Casa Cotzelli opened thankfully! The food is authentic to the point you feel like you just got off of the gondola in Naples Italy! They have thankfully become chosen family and treat all guests as if they are family. Food is love in the Italian language. Don’t want to cook..Come to Casa..Alone for the holidays..Come to Casa.. Noi siamo una famiglia! Mangia!
