When I called and said I had questions he was very rude. He said I had to hurry up because he was busy. Ordered 2 medium pizzas and a salad. When I got there he gave me 2 small and a salad. Tried to tell me it was my fault. But it wasn’t had him on speaker when placed the order was placed and verified it wasn’t me. He made me a medium pizza. When I got home the 2 incorrect pizzas were burnt. Wished I had checked them before I left the store. I never would have accepted them.

So disappointed! It's been a long while since stopping at Charlena's for their Italian cookies. They used to be tasty and delicate. Today, I wasted $10+ on 8 cookies that were hard, tasteless, and in the case of the Wedding Cookies, had the consistency of paste. I don't know if they have a new baker or what, but not worth it if they were free! I threw them out. On a side note, it might have been nice to be greeted with something other than a mumble as well.

I've eaten a decent amount of pizza in Naples on the never ending search for something remotely as good as NY. This is the closest I've found. Very good crust and seasoned well. They are always pleasant in serving you as well.

Charlene’s might have wonderful pastries, but the pizza is awful. I have tried different pizza pies and every single time I vow never to order a pizza from Charlene’s ever again. I am officially done after once again getting a pizza that tastes like salt was poured all over the top of the pie. The meatballs were literally diced into tiny squares. They tasted like cardboard and I can’t believe that they were made with real meat. Gross!

I recall when getting pastry here was Very good. The variety was plentiful and the cakes as well as cookies were fresh and delicious. Then, the variety seemed to be a bit more limited but I purchased cookies as well as pastries to fill in. I try to use local small businesses, it’s costlier here but it’s local. However, Today will be the last visit. Again, the desserts were a bust. Picked up some pastry and was even more disappointed then previously. The chocolate mousse bar cake tasted stale! Not fresh with dried out cake and mousse that was Not soft nor whipped and basically bad, inedible. The peanut butter round cake was not much better, dried out, cracked and tasted somewhat mealy. Embarrassing that I served it. There was no pizza at all in the case, on a Friday nite. So knowing the wait would be Xtra long, left and got Chinese food next door instead. It’s tougher times for all so wasting money on inedible stale tasting food means we won’t return.
