We had a table of eight for a surprise Birthday dinner. Food was delish however the service was lacking. The servers were friendly but very slow. I will definitely go back after season ends - we also knew that it’s a new place so they still have to work out the links.

We dined at J Alexanders in Naples tonight. First, they take reservations - bravo ! We were seated about 5 minutes after arrival. Service was a little confusing - between ordering drinks, ordering and getting our food and paying our bill we were serviced by 4 different staff members. Some were more attentive than others but it seemed to work. Having been eating fish for months this winter, I opted for the French Dip sandwich - thinly sliced roast beef served on a baguette with horse radish. The beef was plentiful and very tender. I paired my sandwich with a baked potato. My wife chose the Brasserie Chicken, a panko crusted pounded chicken breast topped with lemon butter and served with smashed red potato and broccoli. This too was a hit. I might have graded J Alexanders as a 5 star but the noise level in the restaurant made it difficult to carry on a conversation. All said, we return as there were other items on the menu I want to try.

This was a our first visit to the Naples location - been to the PGA one in February. The layout is interesting, definitely different than PGA, which is a wide open room. Naples has several areas - we had a booth in between the bar and the open kitchen (has a glass window). We were celebrating our son's birthday and they gave him a card and a special dessert - very nice touch! The meal service was a little chaotic that evening. My husband ordered the trout and got a shrimp entree. My son ordered the steak with a lobster bernaise sauce, and received the steak but no sauce. I ordered the ahi tuna which I had at the PGA location and everything was the same except for the tomatoes. At PGA, they were sliced with some olive oil and balsamic and basil. Here, I got chunks (quaters) of tomatoes with nothing on it. The manager Mike got involved in resolving the entree issues which was not a problem. They are still a recently opened restaurant so things to do happen. We were very impressed with how Mike handled the situation and that is a sign of a solid business foundation. The food was delicious and it was a lovely evening. Well worth visiting!!!

This restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale is my favorite restaurant. The one in Naples is horrible. Sat for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Received wrong drink, food was dry . What a shame! I was so excited that we were getting one in Naples. But will never go

Oh my goodness such a great restaurant! Atmosphere is really inviting. We started with the salmon dip which was so flavorful. On to the entree's my wife on an unusual whim, and I even got a taste of, had the pork chop. And i almost wished I had ordered the same as it was phenomenal! I had the trout almandine which oh my, did not disappoint. And the service was so very attentive! We will be back! Soon.

Well, we went back and sat at the bar. I ordered the trout almandine. It was pretty dry, no brown butter, and no brócoli is like this restaurant can't get it together. My husband had the tuna and it was pretty good. The gentlemen next to us had the pork, and he had to call the manager because it was mushy. it was removed from his bill, but the manager told him they get it cooked and they just heat it. That is why is mushy. wow. At thise prices not what you want to hear.

Came here with the family--wife, daughter and grand kids. The dining room is very very loud--a lot of hard surfaces reflecting a lot of noise. We had a variety of items, many of which we have eaten at other restaurants in this chain. For instance, the chicken tenders are great in Michigan but not great here. My wife had chicken soup and a salad, which she liked. I had local fish and it was ok. The service seemed kind of confused and jumbled. Our drinks took a long long time to arrive--which is not desireable when it is cocktail time. So I don't know, it was just kinda meh, and I will def not be rushing back.
