Perfectly clean jernt, but I'm more of an 1927 hotel ambiance guy. So, my first experience there tonight. I asked for a glass of Chianti. They didn't have it. OK. A glass of French Pinot Noir. They didn't have it. They had lots of California, and a Russian River - also from California. They charming bartender, Taylor was feeling a little, maybe, embarrassed. She gave me a taste of something, but it was a no go. So, I gave up. "OK. Just give me a glass...
We went to J. Alexander's Naples for a quick meal last night. What a good experience! The dining room was an attractive contemporary design. The food was good. Service was efficient. Mike Szott, Service Manager, oversees the room. Since we were newcomers, he welcomed us with complimentary carrot cake (which was heated) and so delicious. Thank you.
Thomas was such an attentive waiter extraordinaire! The atmosphere is so nice, but alittle loud. You really have to speak louder at your table to talk with your guests.
