Spoke with Katz’s Delicatessen of NYC and they said they have no affiliation with this deli. So the owner going around telling customers that he is part of the Katz family of NYC is either lying or talking about another family, but definitely not telling the complete truth.

it was NO Katz deli. The sandwich was not stuffed & the pastrami was dried out on the ends. Total RIPOFF for $29 just the sandwich. skip this place

The pastrami was tough when I took a bite of the sandwich in many cases the whole slice came out of the bread, the taste was not anything like Katz’s deli in NY, like the owner said it would be. The salads were tasteless, sadly for me I am 1 and done. Lastly when you get your check, there’s an additional charge of $2.50 for delivery. The owner states that he can’t seem to remove it from the computer, but he also doesn’t offer to refund it unless you ask him to! Seriously Now?

Met the owner who is part of the Katz’s family from NYC who was very nice and engaging. Good food, especially the chopped liver and matzo ball soup. The pastrami Rueben was good, wish it was chopped rather than sliced. Food was a little expensive but to be expected given how prepared brisket isn’t cheap. A cute place for a good NY Deli meal.

The service was excellent. The pastrami good. While I waited for my to go sandwich the Ukranian woman let me taste a couple of their delicasies, which were all very good. The problem was the portion and the price. $25.00 for a pastrami on rye? And for that price you'd think it would be piled so high you can't get your hands around it. Not the case. Further injury was they add a 3% surcharge if you use a credit card. So my total bill for a takeout pastrami sandwich including tax was $27.50.

you responded to our review and stated we must be your competitor since it was a bad review. well, we are not competitors, just native New Yorkers who ate many times at Katz's deli in New York and your deli is a far cry from Katz. There's absolutely no comparison to your uncles deli . you served shredded heated turkey , not even half inch thick, you had NO knishes and your potatoe laktas was horrible. we don't mind paying high prices , if we the quality and portion fit the price, but when you charge $20.00 for shredded turkey, $10.00 for a knishes which you can buy in Sam's 6 for 10.00 , how long you'll be in business will remain to be seen .

This is an insult to the original Katz's Deli. The potions were small and overpriced. To say every bad review is from competitors is ludicrous. You have no competitors. You can't continue to rely on Katz's name with the small portions and quality of your food

Hey Steve K all bad reviews aren't competition, I ate there and you should be ashamed of yourself for calling this food,FOOD, it was disgusting

Southwest, Florida suffers from a paucity of delicatessens. Katz's New York deli certainly helps the situation. My wife had a tongue sandwich. It was good, but not great. I had a turkey sandwich. It was good as well. The sandwich was big enough so that I could eat half at another meal. Their prepared meal section and desserts will require future visits.

I was very suspicious when I heard Katz's NY Deli opened in Naples. I reached out to them today. I heard back an hour later

The owner states they have beenaround for 100 years in their reply that not true, the original location is owned by Jack Dell.As to the quality of the food is only one comment to say it SKIP THIS PLACE. Not even close, save your money the deli in the casino has them beat by a mile.If you have been in the Katz deli in NYC you know it's not even a close cousin.
