“Love this place!! Food was exceptional, you could tell that all of the dishes were well thought out and skillfully prepared. The chef and his wife are very welcoming and kind. It shows that they love their restaurant and customers. 10/10 will go again.“
“So let me just start by saying I called in my order and spoke with the owner on the phone, sadly I can't remember her name, but it's a husband and wife owned business. This lady was extremely polite and helpful while I was ordering and told me to be there in 15 minutes and my food would be ready . I was a little bit skeptical on how it could be so quickly during lunch hour, but she did not disappoint! When I walked in the door this place just smelled and looked so clean and tidy. Very simple decor that speaks of the Med. I was greeted by the owner and told her that I had called in an order and she confirmed what the order was and with the biggest smile on her face went to retrieve my food . I paid her as I was paying we were just chitchatting back-and-forth and she was telling me how her and her husband owned this business . I could tell by the house and the look of peoples faces that the food is probably going to be pretty good , but I have to tell you the service that I received for a takeout order was incredible. Now we get to the part of the food ... Oh my gosh ... fresh and tasty from the jump!!!! I ordered the lamb lunch plate and was not disappointed The lamb was fresh and moist, it came with a really nice Mediterranean salad , and of course accompanied with pita bread. Some places just throw the pita bread in with the everything else and the pita ends up all soggy . They actually took the time to make sure the pita was hot and it was in its own separate pastry bag. Of course it came with a side of Taziki sauce , which might be the best I've ever had but it was pretty good. The portion size was abundant, more than I should have eaten actually. It was just so good that I ate way more than I should have. All in all this is a win a place to go and I will definitely be back . Kudos to the owners that they had a Yelp page that someone else had created . They are doing their best to put out delicious food from their hearts with a smile on their face that you take with you when you leave.“
“A gem of a restaurant! Beautifully positioned off main road, yet easily accessible. Patio dining was quiet with comfortable room, foliage and cover. Terrific seaford. Mature, attentive service allowing time between courses. No rush, no hassles.“
“My wife and I loved our lunch today at Black Forest. We were greeted by the owner who always makes us feel like we are at home there. Our waiter, Juan, was just nice. We ordered their small pretzel and potato pancakes as appetizers. The pretzel brings three different mustards, each unique and full of flavor. We both ordered pork for lunch. She had a sauce of lemon and capers and I had a mushroom gravy. Both were extremely flavorful.“
