Food was good at this restaurant The only reason I didn’t give it a five star and I’ve been a fan of this restaurant is because the prices on the website are so outdated so when you’re only expecting to pay less than $20 for lunch, it actually comes up to $25 the burgers are $18 which Rivals your finer steakhouse burgers, which they are not and they don’t have a soda machine so they charge it for three dollars per can of soda which I thought was kind of cheesy So I’m...
It's evident this place deserves the accolades it receives by all the little elements it has from creative flair on breakfast basics to the small charms of scratch biscuits and unique one off items. However on this visit for us the food was almost non edible. The Benedict was so salty I could not eat, the casserole was burnt and the other crab Benedict was so fishy we left untouched. Was a real disappointment, but hopefully it was a one off day.
Ordered the shrimp and grits because they were supposedly famous. The sause was way over seasoned and the texture was like eating a poorly cooked roux. Our waitress was a trainee but pleasant. No convenient restrooms. No atmosphere. No a relaxing place by any means.I won't be going back.
