A gem hidden away on the side street. Im second generation NY Italian on my mother's side. Cooking in NY resturants trained by grandma, uncles and culinary school. This food was as close to what I had left in NYC 6 yrs ago.
My friend and I both had the cheese wheel special with scallops and shrimp. Outstanding flavor. Feline the wheel master put on a show as good a Japanese hibachi chef. The only downside is 3 shrimp and 2 scallop on each plate. For 35 dollars each one and yes the cheese is expensive is overpriced when you can buy shrimp real cheap directly off the boats here.
Our meal started off with delicious bread and seasoned olive oil done perfect. Followed by risotto lobster nuggets deep fried and served with a delicious sauce.
We had two glasses of wine and finished with the light and not overly lemon lemonchello cake which was excellent and a chocolate martini to share.
If you grew up eating Italian food in north jersey, NYC, long Island, providence or Boston then this is the place for you.
Be forewarned its priced for the beach side snow birds . Im not saying its a rip off because the food is over the top delicious, but the price to portion size ratio is off.
This will be a special occasion place for us. Which is a shame I would eat here every week if the prices were more resonable.

I came here while I was visiting on a work and I was definitely impressed. I ordered the meat lovers pizza and it was definitely full of meat and worth it for that price.
Edit - this is not my third time coming here and today I got the veal parmesan in this might be the best one I’ve ever had!

Daniella was our server, she was great!! Very attentive, never left us too long waiting, and she was also sweet and respectful. Also took notice how the manager came around to check on all the guest and make sure we were satisfied! Great place will be coming back

Just had the best experience at Ciao Bella. Jada took great care of me with excellent wine recommendations, very attentive and helpful. The rest of the staff all made sure I was taken care of as well. The food was wonderful. I had the sword fish special which was cooked to perfect. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Definitely coming back!

I took my grandson to Ciao Bella for my birthday tonight. We were seated, had our drinks and where than asked to move to another table to accommodate a bigger party....that is all fine. We watched other diners come in after us and receive their food as we sat there waiting. The server stopped by to say our order was coming. About 25 minutes later, our order arrived. Unfortunately, I had to remind them we had ordered an appetizer that arrived after our main dish. I would have thought they would have given a complimentary dessert for this mistake, but nope, we were charged full price for everything. While the food was good, the service left a lot to be desired. I know food service is hard work...but this really left a bad taste in my mouth. Sorry Ciao Bella.

Absolutely amazing restaurant! From the food to the service, everything is top notch. Everyone makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in.
Gary, the owner, brings incredible hospitality, personality, and true Sicilian pride to the restaurant. You can tell authenticity is at the heart of everything they do.
If you’re getting a drink, ask Jasmine for an espresso martini, that will have you want to stay there all night, if it isn’t her beauty that gets you staying first! And Kassandra with her warm and welcoming service every time!
The atmosphere perfectly blends modern elegance with cozy charm, and the food is hands down the best Italian I’ve had in New Smyrna Beach, if not all of Florida. Every bite tastes like it’s straight from Sicily. Highly recommend!
