Hands down, Peanut’s in New Smyrna Beach is my new favorite spot! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was just perfect—laid-back, welcoming, and full of good energy. This is the ultimate dive bar experience with a killer twist: amazing food, awesome drinks, and a crowd that makes you feel like you’ve been a regular forever. The bartenders—Caroline, Danny, Mike, and Brandon—are absolute rockstars. They sling the best drinks with a smile and somehow make you feel right at home. The food? So good I’m still dreaming about it. The atmosphere is chill yet lively, the kind of place where you can unwind and laugh with strangers who turn into friends by the end of the night. I’m already counting the days until I can go back. If you’re looking for a spot with great vibes, excellent service, and a friendly crowd, Peanut’s is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
The server Samantha M. was absolutely terrible. She took our order and served us our first round then promptly ignored us for the next half hour. My boyfriend’s dad had to go to the bar and get her. She then said “I’m not a bartender”. Confused he came back to our table. Then she came over and said she was cut for the night but proceeded to serve her friends after. Also saw her go over to the guy she ended up leaving with numerous times and drinking a drink off his table. Finally she sent someone else over with our bill even though we didn’t ask for it. Apparently because they “don’t share” which is fine but it was very poor etiquette to send someone else over with the bill and not say that. Only three stars because the lovely bartender Mary T was amazing and served us very promptly. Her drinks were all amazing and her service was killer! She really saves this place.

Fun dive bar, cramped and tight. Fun location right on Flagler. Service, food, menu and prices are what you would expect from a dive bar. Definitely worth going if you’re in

The wait staff is amazing. Food good. Just was busy and food takes a bit of time to come out. Love the live band.

Fun place on a Sunday evening with a fabulous open jam. Bartenders adequate, good drinks. Did not eat here but will be back for music and shenanigans.

Applied to be a bartender, was told by the manager on duty to come in tomorrow for an interview and was immediately turned away. And told that that’s not how they do things however when I had my girlfriend call up there they were more than willing to speak to her over the phone. I don’t support restaurants that don’t employ male and female service staff. Makes the managers seem kinda pervy. Especially considering all the managers I saw were male.

Carlos says that there shouldn't be BBQ sauce with a hot dog, he's one of them Chicagoans that thinks a hot dog is only good if it comes with salad. Personally I thought the Causeway Cowboy Dog was pretty good.
The band were great but unfortunately they didn't play Oasis - Wonderwall.

Absolutely loved it it here! Bartenders are kind and attentive, HIGHLY recommend coming on Wednesday, Karaoke Greg was beyond amazing. Could not say enough good things about him. Amazing person, amazing vibes, always supported and encouraged me to sing. Love him. So great and such a great time. Local or tourist, come to this bar and you won’t regret it one bit. Thanks again Greg and thank once more Peanuts! Wish I lived closer so I could come again!

We spent a staycation locally in NSB, and of course went to Peanuts for drinks. Love the location on Flagler Ave., and of course the drinks are spot on. Great place to listen to music and people watch. Very friendly bartenders!
Thanks!

BE WARNED! THEY ADD ITEMS YOU DID NOT ORDER.
The food and atmosphere was great but will never come back because of Jacqueline the server. My friends and I came to the bar after a day on the boat for the bingo and auction. We ordered apps and entrees (no drinks because we were already drinking and needed to drive home). When the bill came we were charged $1 for “bottled” water and ranch. We were never given any bottled water it was all tap and the only person that ordered ranch was one of our friend who asked for 2, which she was charged for and 1 more so 3 in total! We brought the concerns to Jacqueline and she said they charge for water if you don’t drink alcohol (Sorry if we don’t condone drinking and driving). As far as the ranch we told her only 1 person ordered 2 ranches but we were all being charged for ranch. She said and I quote “I don’t care, someone has to pay for it”. Who says that!? Customer service is clearly not a top priority at this restaurant. My friends and I cashed out and left right away we couldn’t stand being there because of Jacqueline.

What a hoot!! Great little bar anytime, but the Auction on Tuesday is so much fun!!!
Edited Review: things have greatly changed here over last year! Two price increases since October. Yes, I understand everything costs more, but... $7.50 for a Nutrl?! Ridiculous!!! My fault for not asking how much!! I felt really bad for one of the servers because they tip share. Only ONE server of the three was attentive and got things right. We were on three separate bills, and informed server of that up front. Put everything on one and had difficulty separating all when asked for check. Server would come to table, take ONE persons drink order, then run away without checking with others at the table. I made comment to one server about the high priced Nutrl and was told "we've had to raise our prices because they did across the street"...hm. If price matching I'm definitely going to Flagler Tavern for WAY better food and service.
