Staff is friendly. Took quite a while to receive our sandwiches. My husband said the chicken salad was good, but my turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich lacked a good roll and was rather dry.

Used to really like food and service was great.Since new owner has taken over deli, my last two experiences have been horrible. Service at the counter( sandwich maker ) guy with dirty hat barely looks up and is not pleasant , helpful or friendly. The cashier appears to not like her job and barely speaks. Sandwich both times no flavor bread was old. Will not return ever and will not recommend. Don’t waste your money.

Traditional deli with fresh, handmade sandwiches. Rueben, pastrami, ham, turkey. Check out the cuban rueben. Lunch combos come with pickle, chips and a drink. Nice, friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Great little diner/deli ! Great food, very clean, great service, and very friendly employees. Large menu of sandwiches, wraps, salads, and smoothies. They also sell beer and wine. All the sandwiches and salads are made to order fresh in front of you! My favorites are the Cuban Caprese and the Meatloaf. You can dine in, take out, or order carryout over the phone. Highly recommended trying it out!

This used to be one of my favorite places to go, but the new owner seems to have taken over a successful restaurant only to make changes. Switched from Coke to Pepsi which is cheaper (and unfortunate), and now wants to charge for refills at the self-serve fountain. That seems incredibly cheap and tacky. The food prices are also high for what you get, despite the food being yummy. One combo (a sandwich, one bag of small chips, and a soda fountain drink), plus two individual sandwiches ran me $40. That’s insane. I can’t help but wonder how much longer they’ll keep using the Boar’s Head meat. I don’t plan on returning anytime soon, which makes me rather sad. I’ve been going there for almost a decade.Update: Despite the business’s reply, they’ve glossed over the point that they’re making unfortunate changes, cheap changes (charge for refills), and high prices. And regarding the bottle comment…the case by the register with bottles was sparse, and for Coke, only had Coke Zero and Diet Coke.

We stopped in for lunch last week and I’m so glad we did!The Cuban Italian Cuban Caprese are to die for! My wife and I ordered one of each and gave one half to one another so we could both try them.We also got bowls of their Italian Meatball & red pepper soup. Authentic and HOME MADE in house. The staff were very friendly and we also met the owner while there. What a great experience and belly full of goodness! This isn’t fast food. Everything is prepared for you as you order. FRESH! It’s a pleasant reminder of the places we grew up with in the north.Highly recommend!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Chose this restaurant en route thru the State, because of proximity to the highway, Customer Reviews and Online Menu.We were fortunate to find a parking space close by on the street. The interior of the restaurant was clean, open and cheerful. Single bathroom was also clean and spacious. The two aspects of the online menu that were appealing were the option to purchase a half-sandwich and that they have Matzoh Ball Soup. Sadly, we were informed that the new owner discontinued the Half-sandwich, and that they were out of Matzoh Ball Soup.On to plan B, we decided to split a tuna melt on Rye and a side of Cole Slaw. Our cashier told us to get one out of the case, so I guess the sides are self-serve.The slaw was delicious, in a light creamy dressing with a perfect amount of sweetness. Our sandwich was delivered on two plates, served open faced. I'm not sure if that's normal presentation, or because we said we were splitting it? It was a little confusing. Accompanied with a salty, crunchy pickle spear on each plate.Anyway, I cut mine in half & put one on top of the other to eat it as a half-sandwich. The bread wasn't buttered & grilled, as a typical Melt would be. Instead, it was a slice of dry toasted rye topped with finely-mashed tuna, sliced tomatoes & sliced Cheddar that was melted, maybe broiled? The tuna itself was dry-dry-dry, no seasoning, no celery, no relish. The sandwich tasted fine, but it's something one might slap together at home for a quick lunch. Not intending to insult the business at all, just expressing my experience from 1st impressions whilst passing through. Staff was pleasant service was great. I'm sure if I lived closer & had opportunity to visit more often, I'd find menu items about which I'd rave :)

Very "Unhappy" with Happy Deli today. I was there with 2 friends, only ones in line but seemed to take a while for anyone to take our orders. Their order finally arrives, mine does not. Gal comes and asks me if I ordered a half or whole tuna melt (I figured if they do not know what I ordered, this is not a good sign). She said since it is a tuna melt, it takes a little longer, WHAT!! Yet my friend's grilled sandwiches came out fine. After "still" waiting, I go up to counter and say my friends have finished eating, where is mine? The cook then says there was a problem with my ticket getting lost. Okay, not what the gal told me. I finally get it, and wanted to laugh. It was a open face tuna melt on 2 skinny slices of bread, with hardly any tuna, and tomato and cheese. Said I was not expecting an open face, so they pressed it together and warmed up another minute or so. I should of told them to keep it, it looked worse than something from an elementary school cafeteria! I ordered a whole so I could bring the other half home for my husband, I showed him and he says "are you kidding me??" Needless to say it went in the garbage! We were there for over an hour for my crappiest lunch ever. I do realize they were busy, but that is no excuse for the food. I had not been here in about 2 years, always raved how great it was, it made a big liar out of me today.

Stopped in for breakfast. Nothing was hot. Potatoes cold, no flavor and were definitely not fresh. Bacon and sausage not even fresh. Just attempted to reheat which actually made bacon inedible. Over easy eggs were hard. Coffee very weak.
