Anita's Restaurant Reviews
My coworkers and I are working in the area, and we eat here 2 or 3 times a week. The homemade recipes and service are top notch. Maya was our waitress today, she has been before, and she is always welcoming, energetic, and responsive! Look forward to our next visit. Thank you Maya, and Anita's for keeping our bellies full and morale high!
Incredible food, friendly service, clean, fun, atmosphere, very accommodating…. Our large family comes to Casey Key yearly and visits for breakfast multiple times. Every one loves it and looks forward to going. Thank you!

Anita's Restaurant offers a mixed dining experience. The food is generally praised as delicious, with good service and a kid-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant remains a popular choice for those seeking a casual dining option in the area. Customers have recently reported quick service and well-done breakfast, particularly the crispy bacon, hashbrowns, and home fries. The sausage gravy is decent, but the biscuit is not recommended - toast is the way to go. The Broasted chicken is also a delicious option for both breakfast and lunch. Many guests enjoy the French toast, which has been described as so good that some have visited two days in a row just to have it again. The breakfast menu includes popular items like the hash benedict and country fried steak with eggs, both highly recommended. The restaurant has a friendly staff, including waitresses named Nelly and Destiny, who provide great service. Customers also enjoy the Aneta's favorite omelette and pancakes with fruit and honey, often noting the quality and flavor of the food. Despite some reports of inconsistency and high prices, Anita's Restaurant continues to be a go-to spot for many in the community. However, recent changes are underway as the restaurant is transforming into a bar called the Blue Barracuda, which may mark the end of its time as a breakfast and casual dining spot.
