Café Evergreen Restaurant

Vacationing nearby and thanks to happycow, we were able to find this place. They have more vegan options than you would expect. Got the cafe sampler, meat loaf, and the special which was a ravioli dish. Also, the wine they used in the raspberry sangria was vegan too! The items we ordered were top-notch. Cafe Evergreen lived up to its reviews for sure. Highly recommend.

Go to place in Venice for vegetarian and vegan food. The beet reuben is the best! Also has high quality matcha.

5 of us went here. Each with our own dietary needs. So this is our go to place. It's very down to earth. It's real food and fairly priced. My dad is a strict vegan and loves that he has many options, even desert.

Vegetarian options: All menue items are coded for Gluten Free, Vegetarian, and Vegan. There are also beef burgers, regular Rubens, and so much more. We go her mostly for brunch so I have not tried any of the full Entre plates.

Parking: The paring is behind the building and accessible via the side street . My GPS was great with the directions

I love this place! For someone who likes to eat on the healthier side, I am so glad I found this gem. I love the turkey wrap with the gluten free option for the wrap. I also love the mac n cheese, that’s also gluten free. I came here for my birthday I love it so much!

Overall, an incredible meal and experience.
Had dinner here with two others and every one of us raved about the food, service and ambience. Ahi tuna bowl was A++.

Had breakfast here for the first time this past weekend. Had the Skillet Scrambler with tofu, and it tasted very good. However, with the fruit as the side, it wasn't large enough of a portion to keep me from getting hungry just a few hours later.

Very nice and welcoming restaurant. Casual, laid back vibe. Friendly and pleasant staff. Food was fresh, tasty, and well presented. Obviously prepared with care. Chef came out of the kitchen to check that everything was OK. Another indication that the owner truly cares. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to returning.

Went here on a Saturday for the first time and will definitely be coming again! It was decently busy but the workers (specifically our server Melissa) handled it perfectly and it wasn’t too loud or overwhelming. Melissa was absolutely excellent. So sweet (don’t think I saw her not smiling once) and knew everything about the menu and was very helpful with our dietary restrictions.

Are you kidding me??? Absolutely delicious.
The plating was beautiful and it was so flavorful. One of our guests is vegan and usually has a lot of trouble finding places with decent food or more than a couple dishes she can eat (which usually require heavy modifications) but Cafe Evergreen had her covered. They had so many vegan options and all of them sounded good. She got the vegan meatloaf with cauliflower mash and after trying it myself it might be my new go to and I’m not even vegan. I got the chicken pesto bowl and loved it as well.
It has a great ambience and lots of very cute and relaxing outside seating as well
The only stressful part was finding parking because of how loved this place seems to be.
Highly recommend!!

Really great menu with so many options, and everybody's food came out looking amazing and fresh. I enjoyed some delicious vegan food, and would say it's by far the best food I've found in Florida after a few trips!
