This place was recommended to us so we decided to give it a try. The place is very homey. You come in and you seat yourself. Immediately, we were handed menus and our drinks came pretty quickly. The food was fairly inexpensive. Our food came out in stretches because the waitress kept forgetting what we ordered. I had to flag my waitress down a couple times to get coffee refills. The place was packed but it wasn’t that busy to constitute my waitress for my being inattentive....

I love diners and was happy to find this one!The atmosphere was somewhat retro- it could use a little color- red would be bright and cheery.My friend is a regular. He knows Lorraine, our waitress. She could've been brighter and more cheery, too.It took a while, but she eventually bright a knife and fork. I wound up using the spoon from my tea. She acted as if I was bothering her!The food was good, although it would've been much more pleasant if my grits were in a separate...
