food was good, but serious, serious language barrier that should not be occurring. nearly impossible to communicate anything and this made the entire experience very difficult. Ordered a sub and I will say it was quite good, but the complete communication barrier is simply not acceptable. The lady was super nice from what I could comprehend so it’s not about that, it’s just hard to appreciate a place when you can’t even speak to the employees.

Hidden Jewel!! Was in the area and actully looked on google maps for restaurants near me and Jooda popped up ao decided to give it a try and I’m so glad we did.
The restaurant was super clean and had a homey feel. We were greeted as we entered with a warm smile and hello. The young lady who took our order was very friendly and helpful. She told us about the menu items and even suggested we sample the legumes and spinach…they both were absolutely delicious. They have a variety of options on the menu from Italian to Hattian.
I ordered the griot and my hubby had a turkey sub. The food was fresh, seasoned well and hot. The portion size for the griot was enough for 2 people.
We will definitely be back even though we live about 45 minutes away as it is definitely worth it but as always see for yourself.

I have been here when it was Miranda’s and everything was great. Now that it’s new management service is terrible. Twice I have went in and ordered and no one speaks english and cannot assist me. I love their legume but I can barely order. I called and ask if food was ready they said yes, drive there and nothing is ready. Same ladies neither speak english and can’t explain or assist. I try to patronize small businesses but this is truly difficult to support as this has happened twice, the last time customers had to assist with me ordering after a long 15 minute wait. All I can say is I tried but I wont be back.
This place used to be called Miranda's and is I assume under new management or whatever with the naming. My sister ordered some sandwiches (3) then a second order one 1 sandwich. payed for and all. even showing order number confirmation, payment confirmation they still didn't believe the order was placed. the lady there was being belligerent because whoever printed the receipt, I guess left work before our order was picked up. even though has nothing to do with the customer and was why they initially didn't give the first order. After an hour they finally saw they had a receipt for the first order and gave it. then they have a huge fuss over the second order. I've been a manager and sometimes orders didn't show up cause of the machines but if the costumer has proof of purchase and an order number, we would still make the order cause it's not their fault. not these people. They'll just waste your time talking about nothing as if you're trying to dupe them. at least the sandwiches are good. Don't trust electronic orders with them. smh terrible service will never return with them in charge.

The food, people, and atmosphere were fantastic. They serve everything from hamburgers to Haitian food. It is truly a dining must for anyone staying in Miami.
Parking: Plenty of parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: There was plenty of room for wheelchair and walkers to maneuver between tables.

I love the food here, they have the most delicious Haitian food and American fusion menu. I like to order the white rice with legume and the Haitian macaroni au gratin (not American mac n cheese) is to die for. The customer service is good and they are open to making it right of anything in the order is missing or incorrect.
