Food cooked to order and is š„š„š„š„š„ the wait is a little long but is understandable because good food takes time Twangy Shrimp is my fav Mac n cheese is on point as well wanted to try there flavored cornbread but every time I go they are out so that says something overall great place great food and they are not stingy with the food there portions are full sized like grandmas house on sundays... First and most customer service is great. The guy was so welcoming. Found them on tik tok and totally worth the wait and food is fresh. This food is definitely worth the price 10/10 they can take my $40 any day! Youāll be set the whole day the way they serving!
It was nothing to write home about. Almost everything was flavorful. The collard greens were good. The yellow rice was seasoned well and had a great flavor. The yams were delicious and were my favorite items. The salmon was ok. It was supposed to be glazed but wasn't, and it was a little dry. The mac-n-cheese was my least favorite. The noodles were overcooked and mushy, and it was overall too salty. I couldn't eat it. My friend ordered the fried shrimp. I tried one and it was really good. Someone in front of me ordered the chicken wings, and they looked really good.
Would I return: if I were going with friends and they wanted to eat there, but for myself, they wouldn't be thought off.
Vegetarian options: Veggies are made with turkey or pork.

Baked Spaghetti is very good . The cat fish was okay . The blueberry pound cake was too good . The owner have a very good energy and customer service about her . She really interact with customers as well have things in order. We need more that in south Florida

Extremely disappointed, I walk into the restaurant. There are six people waiting. Four are sitting at different tables and one person at the counter waiting patiently, And United States postal worker at the counter/ register waiting for the counterperson to take his order? I stand next to him. While there I can see the steam table with lids covering food items, however, the food lids have different types of food droppings on top, not a good look, the lady behind the counter, says nothing, No greeting, no welcome, nothing, sheās not even taking to the the postmanās order, next she turns her back to look at a check, maybe it was payday? I have no idea. Secondly, she takes out her phone to pair with Bluetooth to play music in the restaurant, finally then she turns to take the postman order, while at the cash register, I asked the young lady if she had a menu? She stops completely, grabs a remote, turns on two monitors, and quietly returns to finish the order for the postman. The menu is at absolutely hideous. Lots of fried items, Oxtails and turkey wings $28, meatloaf special Thursdays, only cornbread dressing, Saturdays, and Sunday grilled or fried seafood. Where am I Captain hooks? In the meantime a lady appears Speaking to the one person waiting at the counter apparently they had a catering order and she says, āmy dear. This is very hot.ā I hope your car is near, no worry, Iāll have someone assist you getting it out. And she says very distinctly to all the staff, ācome upfront,ā I need everybody upfront to start cleaning immediately because the place is way too messy! There were black 2-go boxes on the counter and she asked are these ready and she started calling numbers and people began to leave their tables and come up to claim their orders! So if you recall, when I walked-in, it was just the postman and myself at the counter, now, five more people have walked in. Iām still at the counter. The young lady behind the counter finished the postmanās order, does not take my order, has not, does not acknowledge me and Iām the one who asked about the menu, I hate to assume, but I guess everyone else knows the menu by hard, theyāre regulars, perhaps they have a built-in following and not interested in any new customers? The young lady then proceeds to take someone elseās order? Not to argue or say that I was next, if youāre that forgetful, you donāt need my money and I donāt need fried food, catfish, shrimp, or $30.00 oxtails and turkey wings? I immediately walk-out. And believeā¦.. tomorrowās Thanksgiving.

The cashier and the guy getting the orders out were great but their was one, she had no speed in her to get orders out, talking on her phone, semi-dancing. But the food is really good but for the price the portion size can be a lil bit more for the price that you are paying. I ordered oxtails, veey good flavor but for that price i should have ate 2 or 3 time out of that plate. But i will eat here again. I heard the owner is awesome..maybe get rid of the bonnet look.....and do hairnet.
