“I’m a regular at this location, and the staff is the reason why. To say they’re friendly is an understatement. Management should give a big thank you to James, because he’s the only reason I keep coming back. He’s the only bartender (anymore) at this location that cares about your day and is attentive. We appreciate you James!! I was so disappointed to hear that Max and Brandon were let go. The three of them made us women feel comfortable and safe.

I was helped by a young gentleman (I didn’t catch his name), but he was phenomenal—attentive, welcoming, and made the experience even better. I had been calling around all day looking for menudo because I’ve been craving it, but most places only serve it on weekends until it runs out. Unfortunately, when I got there, they were out, and I almost left because I had my heart set on it—but I’m really glad I stayed. I started with the chicharrones and guacamole—crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. It instantly took me back to those Sundays, hanging out with family while food was being made in the backyard. Then came the pozole… and wow. One bite almost had me in tears—it caught me off guard in the best way and felt like eating at the table with family again. The restaurant itself is beautiful—warm, welcoming, and comfortable. It honestly felt like being in Mexico at the pulgas, walking around surrounded by all the art, decorations, and that rancho-style kitchenware everywhere you look. And the aguas? Absolutely on point. There’s something really special about this place. I came in expecting good food, but I left feeling like I was just leaving my mom’s house or one of my sisters’—that’s how much it felt like home for me. I’ll definitely be coming back—and bringing friends with me.“

“Don’t be fooled by any of the negative reviews. These are THE BEST tacos in Florida. Absolutely amazing. My fiancé and I are from the west coast and she’s from Southern California. So the Mexican food on the west v.s. The east are extremely different. In my opinion Florida tacos are typically quite lackluster compared to those of the WEST. THIS STAND IS THE EXCEPTION!!! The location stuck out to me as it seems to be parked in someone’s driveway when you pull up. But YES IT IS THE RIGHT PLACE! PHENOMENAL TACOS FROM A PHENOMENAL COUPLE FOLKS! They were both very nice. Gave us plenty of extra sauce. And this was EVERYTHING FOR MY FIANCÉ and I ❤️

The food was prepared perfectly — not overcooked and not overloaded with spices. Everything was just perfect. We absolutely loved it! They’ve never disappointed, there’s another taco truck in front of them and we came a little too close to closing for them so they turned us away but we came here and they made time to serve us and we’re so kind about it. Their carne asada tacos are really good and they always remember to put no onions when I ask which is so huge because every place always forgets. Tripa was very crispy and the Al Pastor from el Trompo.

“This the taco stand on south side of Raceway fuel station off Haverhill just north of Southern Blvd. Its excellent. I came here from LA (unwillingly), and didn't think I could find comparable taqueria. This as good as it gets. Food is great, portions are big, prices are more than fair. My friend warily ordered spaghetti, and I ordered chicken alfredo. We smiled at each other with a cringe because that seem like a brave move. The salads were excellent; however, the entrees were the best either of us had ever had. This person has had some first class culinary training in fine dining some place fantastic. I could not say enough good things about the food. Both of us are still amazed. If you are a foodie like us, see for yourself.
