“Buona ristorante (aka Buona pizza) advertises themselves as a classy Italian restaurant. This place is nothing more than a pizza joint. Extremely small inside with paper table cloths that they tear off from a big roll on the back wall. Ordered garlic bread and calamari for appetizer. Garlic bread was OK, calamari was so tough you could not even chew it. My mom's OSSO BUCO ALLA MILANESE (pork shank) was seasoned good, but I could tell it was cooked earlier and then heated up. The outside of the pork was warm, but the middle was stone cold. My wife and I got a Hawaiian pizza. It is thin crust and extremely soggy. Could not even pick up the pizza slice it was so soft. Had a horrible, weird tast me to it, almost like a sour tomato sauce. Barely even ate one slice and left the rest of it there. Went there for birthday dinner, and it was ruined. I guess our first red flag should have been that on a Saturday evening, it was not even busy.“

“Had a wonderful time tonight while we were there. We were greeted with a smile and taken to a table almost immediately. The atmosphere was great and a bowl of water for our dogs was brought to the table. Our severs name was Kenny and she was fantastic. She recommended a drink called The Painkiller. Totally loved that drink. I ordered the oysters and was surprised by the size of them. Very good and filling. Kenny was fun to talk to and happy to be around. She definitely made our first stop in the area a pleasant and memorable one. Thank you Kenny.“

“Wonderful casual family-owned sushi/hibachi restaurant in the heart of St Pete! We made a reservation through Google and our table for 10 was ready when we arrived. The owner and his son Khoi were so welcoming and attentive. We tried a huge variety of sushi, salads, seared tuna, and hibachi entrées. All were absolutely delicious with very generous portions and reasonable prices. Tons of gluten-free and vegetarian options and the ginger salad dressing was so good I brought home my leftovers! Highly recommend for carryout or dine in and look forward to returning again soon. Loved Mr. sushi!!!“

“Don’t come here, don’t eat here and don’t converse with the staff. The place is dirty, the food is awful and the people are rude! If you believe any of this, then you are missing out on this not so hidden gem in Florida, by way of New York! 13 of us had lunch there!!! I wish I could give them 13 stars! “We ate here 2 nights while staying on the beach this week. The hummus and flatbread along with their house salad for a starter was sooo good. The coconut shrimp was good and the coconut curry snapper was the best fish I have ever tasted and I grew up in Florida. The dish is not sweet and the flavor is amazing along with fish cooked perfect. Don’t hesitate to eat here it was our best meal when in St Pete Beach. Thanks Snappers we will be back!“

“Nice restaurant by the sea. We ate on the terrace (it was sports day on TV so perhaps it was a little too loud for us!). We took seafood dishes with shrimp...the ones with coconut were excellent. Average sweet. Very good side dishes.

“Still Excellent After all These Years Four of us enjoyed an excellent meal at Café Largo. It was Wednesday and the place only had a couple of other tables full—one was a large birthday party. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Our server, the wife of the couple that owns the place, was very sweet and helpful. The food was all delicious. We shared an order of the appetizer scallops and the foie gras. For mains we had a fantastic veal chop and delicious lamb chops and a couple branzino. For dessert we enjoyed the chocolate mousse, the ice caffe glace and their homemade ice cream--all wonderful. It’s nice to have an option for some excellent wines. The Margaux was very good, but the Pomerol was even better. Café Largo is an excellent choice for any kind of special event dinner. I hope it won’t be too long until our next visit.“

I am typically more of a red blend wine drinker and they did have a lot of sweeter options but I surprisingly really liked the taste. These are very unique and different wines and you will definitely want to buy some after you taste. “Great Breakfast Finally! A place where all parts of the breakfast were great. The eggs were right. The ham was thick and well seared. The grits, almost impossible to find good ones in Pinellas County, were perfect—not gummy, not watery, not bland. Service was friendly and efficient. The place is busy and lively and mostly clean (bathrooms could stand an updating.) Prices were fair. I will gladly return.“
