Placed an online order at 4:41pm and was not ready until 5:20pm my food was sitting on the kitchen counter, I found out after complaining and someone just didnt pay attention to it. Bad service here.

6 mins before They even looked at me when I was standing at the Order counter. After waiting another 9 minutes they called my number. They called a number out I asked twice if it was 313 but I got another blank stair then a yes.Took it back to the table and found no napkins Or utensils In the bag. Ask for utensils they looked at me like A deer caught in the headlights. They obviously didn't understand english. So I said you know, a fork and knife As I pointed to them. they finally said oh! and handed them to me. I go back to my seat, open The container and it's the wrong order.Soni finally get the right order, start cutting the chicken and it is bone dry.The long and short of this experience is, don't eat at this place their people are lazy, poorly trained if at all, do not speak english well if at all, and could care less about doing their job never mind doing it good.Service - substandard and so was the food.

Great citrus marinated chicken and coconut shrimp. The black beans and yellow rice are yummy. Had some trouble communicating with order taker and room was freezing.
Went for the first time a couple of weeks ago with my niece (January 2024) and everything was fine and dandy until a lady picked up a verbal fight with one of the staff members and the loud lady wouldn’t keep it quiet, she kept trying to scream at the staff. It was an unpleasant experience but I think Pollo Tropical asked her to leave bc the lady just started leaving? I’m not sure what happened but quite a few tables weren’t clean. However, the food was ON POINT! And I’ll probably come back again because the avocado bowl was delicious. The Yuka bites are yummy too! The churros I do not recommend.

What killed the experience for me was the employee behind the counter taking my order. He looked at me with a face. That said, why are you here, your bothering me, I don't want to be here. Training would do wonders. The company needs to invest in such training. The food is mediocre. I would bypass this place and go to 7-Eleven for greasy food.

On 1/26/2024 I purchased my lunch from this location as I always do. As I began to eat my meal, in the middle of the cup there was hair wrapped up into the rice. That was the most disgusting thing I've ever experienced in my entire life at a restaurant. I immediately threw up the food I had in my mouth. This should not be happening where people are spending their money. I buy food from Pollo tropical multiple times however I will never visit this restaurant again. I can't express how disgusting I feel. Not knowing where that hair came from.
