I stopped in for lunch at tequila sunrise two days ago. I’ve eaten there several times when I’m in Fort Lauderdale. On this visit, I was surprised to learn that if you want tortilla chips, there is a two dollar charge! They were always included with your meal when you purchased a beverage/meal. I can understand limiting tortilla chips to one bowl per table, and charging an additional fee if the customer request more, but this looks petty and cheap 😔

unfortunately the past few times ive been here have reduced my reviews. the fajitas were 80% vegetables and 20%meat. sitting at the bar service was sub par as well. used to be our go to place for mexican but will try others. maybe be back.

Came last year Cinco de mayo and it was rained out, came back this year... Sat out doors, food was great, entertainment was good (DJ and fire dancer\breather) but dammm the service was slowwwwww.. never again... Meal took almost 4hrs to get everything from a beer to my check..

Never again.

I'll come here in a regular night for the good food.. but on a holiday\ event..forget it
