"Went to Firehouse Subs on Hwy 200 in Ocala today during lunch, and I’m torn on this one. The subs are solid—got the Hook & Ladder, and it was hot, loaded with meat, and tasty as always. The staff were polite and the place was clean, which I appreciate. But a 40-minute wait for a sub at 12:30 p.m.? That’s rough for a quick lunch stop. They told us up front, so props for honesty, but it threw off my whole day. Seems like they were slammed and understaffed. Food’s...
