Overall this place has good food. The chicken Francese was great. The Caesar salad was a little wilted and wet. Calamari was also good. For the area it’s a great little spot

Marcelina’s Is an Italian restaurant located in Ocala. The food was good, the atmosphere nice and the staff great. We found it a bit shady that they added an automatic 25% gratuity to our bill and then asked for an additional gratuity and added a ghost service charge. The noise level made it impossible to have a conversation.

Do not let the fact that this restaurant is in an older strip mall fool you. Once you eat here you will never go back to one of those national chains that shall not be named. The atmosphere is intimate with an emphasis on quality service. Staff is attentive without smothering. The food is absolutely amazing. We had the grouper francese and lobster ravioli. Perfect. Absolutely perfect. I am skilled in the kitchen and generally leave a restaurant disappointed knowing I could do better at home. Not so with Marcelina's. The food was made with care and presented with elegant simplicity. I know for a fact I could not duplicate the delicious sauce on the lobster ravioli.

Everything about this place is exceptional. The staff is extremely attentive, polite, professional, personable and welcoming, to a higher degree than I've seen anywhere else. The atmosphere is fantastic with low lighting, soft music, neatly set tables, and fine art on the walls. The restaurant is also always completely spotless, with everything always in order and tables neatly made with silverware and napkins right after a party leaves. In addition, the most important part, the food is nothing short of phenomenal. Every item I've tried from the menu is just incredible, on top of being surprisingly affordable. I'd truly give this place 6 stars if I could, you won't find this sort of service, food, or atmosphere anywhere else.

My family has been visiting Marcelina’s for over 10 years and I just want to mention how excellent the service and food are. You receive a local and very welcoming family atmosphere. I ordered the carbonara and was so pleasantly surprised that it also comes with shrimp!
The service is always excellent and we’re always received with great attention to detail and friendly staff. I 100% recommend Marcelinas. Also, order the tiramisu for your table. Enjoy !

A quaint Italian restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. All staff members were friendly, and catered to our needs. I had the Eggplant, and Spaghetti and really enjoyed it. There was so much food that I had to take some home. I would definitely eat here again when I have the taste for Italian.

Our first time here after driving across the country. From the wine (montepulciano) to the pasta (chicken alla vodka), and the dessert (crème brûlée) everything was even BETTER than expected. The staff has a fun personality, and the vibe is clean and intimate. Will be back 💯

Decided to order takeout because I had back surgery a week ago. Every dish we ordered was on point from quantity to quality. The Grouper was cooked to perfection, Eggplant rollatini was incredible and the chicken piccata was the perfect! Thank you for the care in packing fresh bread and all the entrees! Yummy!

Our evening started out where I was trying to find a Chicago style deep dish pizza. Let me first say that didn’t happen! Then I googled best Italian restaurants in Ocala Florida. And this little gem popped up. My husband and I had a fabulous experience. The meal was absolutely fantastic. Let me say first
of all, that I’m extremely picky! If it’s not as good as or better than what I can cook, I really don’t wanna spend my money. So it was worth every time. And let me further say, the prices were extremely reasonable, which I will post the menu as well. My husband had the veal marsala, and I had the chicken fransece (don’t think that’s spelled correctly)! Anyway, you get the point! We ordered as our side dish fettuccine Alfredo and then I ordered an extra order of broccoli. The only thing I personally didn’t care for was the dipping sauce, which was oil, herbs, and very heavy garlic. They were very accommodating in giving us butter with our fabulous toasted bread. The service was impeccable. The Chianti was to die for! If you like a very light fruity not to dry not too sweet wine go for the Chianti. My husband thought it was a little loud in there, I guess it was. But it wasn’t something I couldn’t deal with for an hour. You definitely need to go check it out. It’s in a little strip mall you would have no idea how quaint and beautiful it is inside. And they also probably do private parties because they had a very large room available. PS… no, they did not have pizza on the menu.

Just had dinner and it was delicious and comforting. Servers were so kind and attentive. My friend and I split a bottle of wine and the beef carpaccio; she had the ravioli and I had the lasagna and no complaints from either of us. Also, the restaurant is decorated for Christmas right now and it felt so cozy.
