We have ordered from Shang Hai on multiple occasions now. Although not perfect and personal preferences will differ. We found them to be one of the better if not the best Chinese take out restaurants we’ve tried in the area. The food portions are decent. The food is very good. The prices are decent. I cannot think of much more that I need. Shang Hai’s food so far has fit the bill for us. So I recommend trying them. I rarely give five stars unless the subject is outstanding and above others in their field. So although I thought about it. I gave Shang Hai four stars, because they are very good. But not quite perfect to the point of head and shoulders above the rest. But you can consider it 4.5 stars. And I figure that’s quite good.

Well, adequate is all I can say. Had chicken fried rice which was freshly made but had very little chicken. Don't need to be that stingy for the price charged. Sweet & Sour soup was tasty and a little spicy which was good. Fried wontons were too crispy for my liking, some sharp edges, too chewy, not great. Staff friendly, food ready on time. Will try elsewhere.

I called and let them know even though it was my fault for not knowing fully what I was ordering (due to language barrier) , they still replaced the order for me and respectfully educated me on what to order next time if I wanted the same thing. Don’t waste the time. Decided to get carry out here Christmas Eve. The fried rice was undercooked, bbq ribs were not bbq, because I think they gave us boneless instead, which were disgusting. The shrimp Lo mein had very little shrimp in it and the cashier just rang it up and walked away.
