“I've been visiting Freddy's kitchen for 6 months once or twice a week. The food there is excellence. The Brown stew, chicken oxtails, curry chicken, the made to order, even the patties. This is one of my favorite spots, small Jamaican. Good food restaurants. I've tried many others in Orlando. This is one of the best ones I found. The service is top-notch place is always cleaned. I recommend this Jamaican restaurant to anyone originally from New York. So I know jamaican food from queens, just like home.“

“Food was delicious. Ordered jerk chicken curry chicken and a steamed fish all with rice and beans and vegetables. Everything was very enjoyable! The owner provided great service and a very enjoyable atmosphere! If you want amazing Jamaican food this is the place to go!“

“We were there (Marsh Rd location) for the first time today. Random choice. It was amazing. The food was flavorful and comforting. Portion was exactly right. The people were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Atmosphere was calming and relaxing. We live 2 hours away and are not normally in that area. We will be going back—just because it is that good and well worth the drive.“

“I tried Rose Island Spice for a catering of 37 guests. It was very last minute. They were very professional in handling the last minute request. The food was well prepared and tasty. Thank you Rose Island Spice for a tasty dinner. I strongly recommend this restaurant for the best to a home cooked meal from yaaad.“

“I have had the pleasure of dining here and the atmosphere is peaceful and clean. The food is delicious and authentic. I had their salt mackerel and it was cooked with natural coconut oil and it was delicious. It's not raw and I will definitely go back and get it again. But let's not forget their ackee and saltfish and their saltfish fritters. And di ginga tea buss gas gud tuh.“

“Hands down the BEST Carribean food in Orlando! I drive over 35 minutes just to come here. Staff is always extremely friendly, food is always hot and delicious! I highly recommend you try it if you haven’t already!
Vegetarian options: Yuca, plantains, porridge. Cabbage
Parking: Very big parking lot and lots of spots available!

“Phenomenal jerk cauliflower - even my omni family liked it. 10/10 recommend the yucca fries and chickpea curry too. On top of that, the staff were knowledgeable about vegan options and super friendly. I ordered takeout at the bar - since it wasn’t too busy my server brought it next door to Patty O’s where I was having drinks with my family. Will definitely be back!“

“Listen Best Food in a longggggg time !!!! Beyond 5 stars . Real Authentic Jamaican food. I couldn’t get home before hubby and I devoured the food. Polk county needs them to open a new spot . It’s worth the 1 hr drive and fighting traffic every time!! Big up’s to the Chefs!!!“

“I've never had Oxtail Rasta Pasta, Mac/Cheese, and Cabbage until today 8/13/25. The dish is enough for 3 people and worth every penny of it.
The Penne pasta noodles combined with those tender fall off the bone Oxtails, with the gravy and seasoning just works.
I highly recommend this place!“
