I did the create-your-own with tamales and a chile relleno, served with rice and refried beans. We were all happy with our food. Before we ordered we were served complementary chips and a thin salsa. Most of us took home half of the plated food in containers.“

Two ladies working at lunch time on Saturday, April 27th were courteous and hard working, especially the one who spoke Spanish and was cooking, serving, at the register, and cleaning the dining room. “This may be the easiest review ever! This place is my new favorite. I had my birthday dinner here in March and it was probably the best experience I have had with a restaurant and a large party. Everything was perfect, the staff the food the service the ease of everything. I requested the "Party Room" as they call it at the Clearwater location. They let me decorate to my liking and never once were we in need of anything (our party had 20 people) all at the same time their regular restaurant was full on a Saturday night. They offer 2 for 1 drinks during the week 2-6 and let me tell you if you drink sangria the red is delicious, and strong. This place is just so fun, we have a blast no matter if we are here for drinks, dinner or a large party. The staff is attentive, and fun. 5+++ stars, more if I could give it.“

“A humble fast casual restaurant with really nice staff and the best chicken quesadilla I've ever had! This is no Americanized menu. There are tacos, quesadillas, sopes, and tamales, and each one looks better than the last. You can even have a bowl! The tortilla was crispy, the mozzarella cheese was generous, and the chicken was delicious! The chicken was chopped into small pieces, sauteed in something incredible, and had fresh cilantro sprinkled on top. Whenever I'm close by, I'll be eating here and trying their sopes next!“

The service was terrible! the server was asked 4 times to bring water and lemon to the table, the server failed to check up on us after serving our food, and towards the end, my brother asked to bring out another order of tacos and the server persuaded him to not order more because they were to busy. due to the poor service provided by the server, we all the decided not to tip. After verifying my credit card account, to my surprise, an adittional 10 dollars were added to my bill. I thought it could be an honest mistake; however, after speaking to my sister, she informed me that 10 dollars were also added to her card. FOOD NO SO GREAT, BAD SERVICE, AND STEALING FROM CUSTOMERS.“

“Ok I am giving this 5 stars, but I will be 100% honest. I really would give it 4.5 stars. I ordered 4 carnitas tacos with a side of salsa verde. Here's the breakdown:

Customer Service - 9/10, They took care of me and got me in and out quickly. The ordering process was easy.

Selection - 7/10, Not a whole lot of choice, but some people like that. No burritos. That was a bit disappointing, but whatever.

Food quality - 9/10, the carnitas was excellent. Hands down great quality food. The only thing I personally would have done is fry the tortilla just a little more, but different strokes for different folks.

Restaurant Presentation - 6/10, I'm not judging here. I can tell this place is trying to make it in a tough market so I'm always willing to cut slack. However, if it were my place, I would consider cleaning everything to be a top priority. I won't go into detail, because I think it's disrespectful, but there were some things that needed cleaning that anybody could have dealt with. Not dealing with it makes the place look unsafe. I even was thinking about walking away before I purchased my food. Mexican restaurants in Mexico, in my experience, are clean and the folks take pride in a clean restaurant.

Overall - 9/10. I cut a lot of slack on the presentation because you never know people's situation. That being said, despite the excellent food quality, I probably will skip out on going back until the appearance is 100% on point. When people care about the cleanliness, it says they care about me. If anything changes in the hour after I eat this I will update the review.“
