The first time I visited this location was on my birthday a few weeks ago and the girls that attended me were so sweet and welcoming. Today I came in again and Sisi was there, she immediately recognized me and asked about my birthday and even remembered my favorite sauce. I work in retail and know that remembering a customer I’ve only seen once before can be a nearly impossible task. “Chick-fil-A has been one of my favourite fast food restaurants since 2006. The chick-n-minis were the first thing I ever tried and I was blown away, it's still my favourite thing they offer. If you ever get the chance to try their breakfast, I suggest trying it. Their chicken nuggets are the best available from any fast food restaurant because it's actually chicken. Waffle fries are exceptionally good. Polynesian sauce? I don't even know what it actually is but it's so damn good. The customer service at Chick-fil-A is the best there is, they're the first fast food restaurant I've ever seen send employees out to the drive-thru line to take orders in advance and if it's a hot day, offer lemonade while you wait (the lemonade is also fantastic as well). The employees are courteous and always upbeat, the interaction is always great. Now being able to order in advance, drive up and park, it makes it even more accessible.“

“This has to be the TOP Pollo Tropical in all of South Florida. The lines for drive thru are always around the corner, if you can find parking get off and order inside. This chick fil a is legit the only business open in the building on the whole block yet you can’t park for 5 minutes out front to get food. The garage is $8! The city should rezone the parking in front for 15 minutes Max or something. How are business supposed to survive here. They are losing a lot of business. We left today because the parking lady was harassing us. Meanwhile 6 police cars parked out front getting lunch, a city bus parked in the no parking zone to get lunch, 2 usps trucks parked in a no parking zone to get lunch. Are they special? “I love pollo but instead of the cool island music they used to play I hear a bunch of loud noise from the heavy ass metal chairs everyone drags, very annoying, the sauce bar they used to have was better than the plastic containers the sauces are put in which are so bad for the planet.“

“Pollo Tropical offers a solid selection of flavorful, Caribbean-inspired dishes at a good value. One of the highlights for me is their coconut shrimp—crispy, lightly sweet, and well-seasoned. The shrimp are a great size and have a nice crunch without being overly greasy.

I also really enjoy their sweet plantains. They’re soft, caramelized just right, and make for a great side dish. If you like plantains, these won’t disappoint.

The service is usually quick, and the atmosphere is casual and laid-back. It’s a good spot for a quick meal that’s different from the usual fast food options. If you’re in the mood for something tropical, it’s definitely worth a stop.
