Stopped in to try them out a couple weeks ago and ordered the oxtail. Not only was the owner super sweet and hospitable, but the oxtails were the best I’ve ever had. Plantains were cooked perfectly. I ended up using the rest of my rice to sop up the leftover gravy/sauce from the oxtail because I don’t want any of that deliciousness to go to waste!
This is good well seasoned Haitian ?? food. The price is reasonable and the portions are very nice. My first experience I ordered, Griot Complete which included rice, plantains, and macaroni. I also ordered Pate Kode and passion fruit juice. The food was very good. The griot was cooked to perfection... and it wasn't hard or dried out. I wanted to keep eating. The service was fantastic. Price and the quality of the foods are the best in the city. It's the best Google search ever. Young and vibrant business. Oxtail and jerk chicken are the best. The flattened plantain and brown rice tasted juicy. You have to patronize this business before you can believe me. Shalom ? ?
