Thank you for doing a proper mise en place. He’s professional, passionate about the food, knowledgeable about the menu. I could tell he fired food based on the pase of our table. Nailed it.Second, the details. My plate was hot, but not because it was sitting under a heat lamp, but because it was intentionally hot. I could tell that someone wiped my plate, because they take pride in what they’re serving.These two qualities sets this restaurant apart (unfortunately) from literally every other “fine dining” restaurant I’ve tried so far in JAX.Third, they have foie gras, and it was excellent. They have duck confit. This is the type of restaurant where I’m sure there’s a giant tub of duck feet in the back. It’s legit confit. And it tasted like that. “Went here for the first time on Sunday for brunch with a friend. We had made reservations online and were seated right away upon arrival. Our server was incredibly nice and went over the menu and specials in detail, explaining that they work with other local businesses and their food is always made fresh. We had a chocolate chip cherry bread to start and it was DELICIOUS! Both of us enjoyed our main entrees and drinks. Very relaxing, comfortable atmosphere, fantastic & welcoming staff, scrumptious eats and great cocktail list. Will definitely be back!“

“Found this little hidden gem on Google tucked in a very large antique mall. My party of 4 all got the Cuban with side salad, and it was pretty good. Pretty fast service (order at counter and take a number) for only one front employee. Stroll the mall while waiting or after. Nice break from the norn at lunch.“

“Very friendly! The food was delicious! I got the 5 piece falafel “appetizer,” but it was a huge sandwich! It was on homemade bread and had tomatoes, lettuce,onions and pickles on the side. “Nice venue with a good menu of items from chicken, shrimp, fish, etc. Great staff. Very welcoming and friendly. Came from NY looking for a spot to celebrate my birthday. Googled black owned clubs and Indigo popped up. We may have gone on the wrong night because it was a skeleton crew but it has great potential. There are sections roped off with white leather sofas and lots of strobe lights. It's very spacious. I'd love to come back when there's a crowd. This place is dope. The DJ was also doin' his thang.“

Sometimes, I can tell the grease is not fresh, and the fries have that dirty grease taste. Service was average. That can be hit or miss as well, depending on the server.“

“First time here they experience so good. when you first walk in. Open space and unique layout. I went for brunch we got the fish and grits which was mind blowing good and chicken and waffles which where so soft and the chicken season. There was a DJ there also. They have a cute backyard area and patio area. Rachel was my server and she was so great. Very friendly and attentive.“

There was so much food I had to bring some home. The staff was happy, jovial in fact. Hurricanes tend to do that to folks round here, (in a Bob Marley kinda way). Nervous energy I guess or maybe just glad the storm impacts have been minimal. A happy brunch made for a welcome distraction. “Ate on the front patio. Oysters are on the happy hour menu daily at half price. They are nice sized and tasty. We get sweet potato fries also. If the place is busy, service is slow in the kitchen. My Oysters took an hour to deliver. Hot foods came much quicker. We were glad we had the fries to eat first.“
“Anytime I go anywhere I have to try BBQ. Visiting my Parents in Jacksonville and this place was highly recommend. Pulled pork and smoked wings were excellent. The coleslaw tasted like KFC's (that's not a bad thing). The brisket sandwich and chili were really good. I would recommend.“
