Amatista Cookhouse Reviews
I recommend this hotel but not Amatista’s Cookhouse. My family was very disappointed. We ordered a whole rotisserie chicken that cost $50. We expected the chicken to feed three people. While my stay was great, I did not appreciate being charged for using the coffee provided in the room. At no point was it mentioned that there would be any charge to use anything provided in my hotel room. If I had known that we would have gladly paid less money for a bigger cup of coffee from one of the local restaurants vs being charged $19.75 for an 8oz coffee.
The front desk was very, very unhelpful with a problem they caused. They are very rude and unapologetic when they cause a problem for their guests and pawn it off on others instead. Please see Google reviews for more.

Guests can try the rib burger, mahi-mahi fish sandwich, and fried yuca, all described as absolutely delicious. The menu clearly indicates dairy and gluten-free options, making it easier for those with allergies to find suitable choices. The Caribbean chicken wings, which can be made gluten-free, and the grilled pineapple salad with a refreshing lemon dressing, are also recommended. The mojo-marinated rotisserie chicken, which can be made dairy-free, is praised for its perfect cooking and moist texture. Sides like yuca and maduros are also enjoyed.
