the fragrances they use to make rooms and lobbies smell like perfume instead of just clean are very nauseating and caused migraines for my family, we decided our health was more important and spent more money to book an off site hotel, we kept the room to have fast passes, but I felt like the value wasn't worth it because we paid for 2 different rooms for one night because they can't consider that some people are sensitive or allergic to artificial fragrances. When we visit Universal, this is our first choice for accommodations. The staff are exceptionally helpful, kind, and patient. The bedrooms are comfortable, clean, and beautifully quiet. I especially enjoy how easy it is to navigate. My favorite thing to do after the parks is to come back and take a nice shower, then lounge in the gorgeous courtyard. We don’t spend any time at the pool, but it’s beautiful and appears well maintained. 10/10!!
Rude staff. No lei upon check-in. (lots of reviews mention this, obviously they dont care because its not fixed). Room was in tower 2, really far walk to everything, very dark, in halls. Everything is outdated. Double beds, lights that are broken (again, this is mentioned in reviews and its not being fixed). The window is dirty and not sealed right because condensation obstructed view of the street (mentioned in other reviews, not being addressed). Old mismatched paint in room....read full review

Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando offers a premier Universal experience, with a focus on family-friendly amenities and convenient access to the parks. The staff are consistently respectful, friendly, and welcoming, always eager to assist guests. The location provides easy walkability to CityWalk and the parks, with the added benefit of an included Express Pass. Guests can enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds, a fantastic pool area with two hot tubs, and comfortable rooms. The resort features three towers, each with its own elevator bank, and a great food area in the lobby, along with a gift shop and bar. An on-site restaurant offers buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with room service options that include fun Halloween Horror themed items. The water taxi services to the Universal parks are entertaining, thanks to the skippers, and the pool area is perfect for kids, with attentive lifeguards and servers.
While the resort may show some signs of age, the overall experience remains top-notch, highlighted by a gorgeous lobby, a fantastic sushi restaurant, and kind employees. The themed environment is beautiful but not overwhelming, creating a relaxing atmosphere for guests. The location allows visitors to see the rides from the hotel, and they can easily walk or take a 10-minute boat ride to CityWalk and the park entrances.
Recent reviews mention that beds are the most comfortable ever slept on in a hotel, and the staff in the Club level lounge are especially outstanding—friendly and pleasant, making the stay better despite some check-in issues and park pass frustrations. Guests praise the amenities, cleanliness, and perfect location, with many noting the early park access and fast passes as totally worth it. Overall, this resort offers something for everyone, with excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and convenient park access.
