The front desk was very, very unhelpful with a problem they caused. They are very rude and unapologetic when they cause a problem for their guests and pawn it off on others instead. Please see Google reviews for more.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this resort. It was dog friendly which was extremely helpful. The resort, amenities, and our room was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful decor and very impressive pool with a slide. I loved the water taxi to take up to Universal. Highly recommend.

It's a really nice dining room, and the service is incredibly friendly and sincere but the food was diabolical.....you know how you get a Michelin star right? It's less about the menu and more about consistency, I get the feeling from this location that the menu is well thought out, and with the right chef this could be a solid restaurant. Admittedly, we arrived late, 9pm and last slot is 9:45 but they had evidently given up. The shrimp starter was epically over seasoned and had a detergent aftertaste....that I can still taste, more like an afterburn. Wife has salmon that was a little dry but the dish overall was ok, my rotisserie chicken was sub- boston market, bordering on pigeon size and very dry, the beans and rice was not what I expected and the yucca was swimming in grease, nauseating, the plantains were very good, thankfully. At this point we were not going to embark on an underwhelming dessert and left. The meal was priced fairly, drinks were excellent, check was $150 for the two of us....if this is the kitchen that prepared the room service that might explain the low standards but I'm guessing. We're eating at the other sapphire falls restaurant tomorrow, strong water....and I'm nervous 😂 😂

We ate here for our anniversary dinner to have a chill night. The ribeye was one of the best steaks we have ever had. The waitors are all very nice too.

Thanksgiving was okay but would have been better if the plates weren't cold. Worst offender Couldn't even stomach the turkey and gravy it immediately went room temp and was not the best in the first place. Opposite side the Ham and glaze was good, juicy and got second helpings with cranberry compote

As we didn't order drinks we barely got table service.

We had a reservation and still had to wait 10 minutes after checking in. They definitely oversold their service capacity.

It should not need to be said but when you serve food that is barely hot enough on cold plates then you get cold food. If you want to serve a buffet invest in plate warmers.

If anything is to blame it's the money pinching. Invest in staff. Invest in necessary amenities.

Sadly disappointed by this restaurant. We went out of our way to come here as I had heard it was very accommodating for gluten free individuals. Our server was terrible and not accommodating at all. He made us feel as though we weren’t wanted and he didn’t want to be there which I can understand having worked in food and bev but a good waiter never show that, especially at a restaurant at this price point. The gluten free empanadas were excellent but make sure to ask that it goes to the gluten free fryer. The mocktails were also very yummy as was the soup but don’t get the chicken wings. They are overpriced and mediocre in flavor. While food was decent with service this bad we won’t be back.

A very disappointing experience at breakfast. $32 a pop for the worst buffet I've ever had, including the continental breakfasts at much cheaper hotels! What a huge waste of money. Do better.

If you ever get the chance to come here, don’t. With only 3 tables full our food never came out. When we asked our server, Jimmy, about it he got angry and blamed us for not picking the buffet instead. They also share the room service kitchen which had completely ignored my wife’s allergies.

My father and I spent the week at Universal Studios and stayed at Loews Sapphire Resort.

On our first day, my father and I were craving a burger 🍔. So, we decided to to try Amatista Cookhouse in our hotel.

The restaurant is very pretty. It is all blue and white and very bright thanks to the many windows 🪟.

We ordered two burgers 🍔 and after a little wait, they finally arrived. YUMMY! The burgers were excellent. The meat was cooked perfectly and the brioche bun was soft and flavorful. This burger is a MUST TRY!

My father and I had an amazing lunch and will be back for more next time!

We gave this restaurant 3 chances. The breakfast buffet food was delicious and there's plenty to choose from. The coffee was decent but luke warm.
Dinner was a disappointment. The kids Mac and cheese tasted like dirty dish water. The chicken was alright but a bit dry, which appears to be the norm according to other reviews.
The service was so slow! For breakfast some of us got the buffet and some ordered off the menu. Those that ordered off the menu waited over 30 mins for the food which was just oatmeal. Funny enough, they just grabbed the oatmeal from the buffet. Crazy.
The manager was helpful but it shouldn't take that long if they're grabbing it from the buffet.
Not great experiences for that price. We will utilize the Dutch cafe and Strong water.

Not only were we skipped over for help three times before being assisted, but after eating the subpar chicken wings for $16, I found a hair in the sauce. My hair ain’t black. Ew bro. I changed my review from a two to a one cuz I feel like throwing up now. Thanks.

This was an excellent place to dine during our stay! We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, and we were so pleased to be offered healthy options like overnight oats and a great selection of fresh fruit as well as all the usual buffet staples. Dinner was a little pricey, but the food was fantastic. What really made our experience though was the incredible wait staff. Eric and the team of servers went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was above and beyond our expectations. Definitely recommend!

I went for Magic Dining and I can safely say save your money, and time. Food wasn't anything special, service took a year and a day, we had to request things multiple times from different staff members. And they can't get the cooks right on super thin steaks, it's almost like they pound out their meat before they cook it. Definitely disappointing the only saving grace was the manager was kind enough to take an entree off the bill but everyone I went with confirmed that we'd never give them a second look again. It's a shame because I used to work for the hotel chain and was told all their restaurants were top notch especially the I-drive ones. Views were nice and decor is pleasant but that's about all that was good about the experience.
