I recommend this hotel but not Amatista’s Cookhouse. My family was very disappointed. We ordered a whole rotisserie chicken that cost $50. We expected the chicken to feed three people. We were shocked to see the size of the chicken that was brought to our table as it was extremely small. Not only was the chicken tough to break apart to put on our plates, but it was also hollow in the middle, lacking meat. This restaurant should be ashamed of themselves for charging $50 for what...
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this resort. It was dog friendly which was extremely helpful. The resort, amenities, and our room was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful decor and very impressive pool with a slide. I loved the water taxi to take up to Universal. Highly recommend.
It's a really nice dining room, and the service is incredibly friendly and sincere but the food was diabolical.....you know how you get a Michelin star right? It's less about the menu and more about consistency, I get the feeling from this location that the menu is well thought out, and with the right chef this could be a solid restaurant. Admittedly, we arrived late, 9pm and last slot is 9:45 but they had evidently given up. The shrimp starter was epically over seasoned...
