We went to this bar on our first night at the Aventura hotel. Arrived around 930pm on a sunday. I want preface that we counted 5-6 servers and over half of the tables were available. Server was initially very welcoming, saying hello within a minute of us sitting down. She helped with discussing dishes, but suddenly became apathetic once we said we were only drinking water. The waters were brought out server did not return after that. Our food was delivered by another individual who, upon asking for a refill of water, told us that we had to ask our server. After getting halfway through our meal I went to the bar to ask for water refill. My server suddenly appeared and told me she would get it. Finished my meal without her returning. Another employee asked how things were going and we explained that we had not seen our server since placing the food order and have not received a refill on water despite asking twice. The server came out shortly after and coldly delivered the water. When we asked for a check she brought it and walked away before we could give her a card to pay with. Then somehow forgot where we were sitting in the few minutes it took to run our card. Glad we came here on our first night so that we dont waste time coming again during our vacation. I wouldnt recommend. Food was pretty good, but it was not good enough to make up for the terrible service.

Planned our entire weekend at Universal and this place doesn’t have the courtesy to let people know when it won’t be open to the public. Planned our time there according to posted times and this place was closed for a private event. Post that so people know! Came all the way over to be denied entry. You beg all influencers to hype this bar up and don’t care if you screw up a guest’s plans.. It’s not like you didn’t know the space would be closed. COMMUNICATE. Do better Universal!

I'm very mixed on Bar 17. It is very far away from everything. I drove by twice because the only sign is not facing traffic but just on the building itself.They do not take credit/debit, however for $3 you can access the ATM. It is a true biker bar. The waitress was pleasant and fast. There is a pool table that looked like it's is good shape. It's beer and wine only. They do accept dogs.The entertainment includes many bands that I am personally friends with, and that play locally here in SW Florida.The beer was cold. It was clean and not cluttered.I did not try the food as no menu was offered. I'm told there are food trucks, though I only saw one.The building itself is cool. I felt like I was on somebody's personal patio watching a private event.I was there with about 15-20 friends who had a great time. I'm just not convinced it's worth the drive for me.

I recently stayed at the property over the weekend and had a lovely experience everything was clean and the atmosphere was nice. Me and my wife stopped at bar 17 and had Amazing experience with are bartenders grace and Katy who gave great service, engaging conversation and let me tell you, know how to make a drink! My wife who is usually very particular when it comes to drinking couldn’t get over how every drink she got was spot on! It was truly a bright moment of our stay in orlando.

While on vacation in Orlando last week I was recommended by friends to visit bar17 and I’m so happy I listened to them!! The drinks and food were great but the service at the bar from Daniel is what made our experience amazing!! He was extremely personable and truly made this place stand out. Next time we’re in town we will definitely be stopping by!!

My wife and I ended our day of excursions with a nice dinner and cocktails with Daniel. My wife isn't much of a drinker but all I had to tell him was that she was a fan of fruity drinks and he went to work. I'm an old fashioned drinker myself and even I caught myself drinking all of her drink. Overall we had a great time with amazing service and it was a nice ambience for a Wednesday night. We will definitely be back to see Daniel again.
