If you are looking for classy ambience and quality food, may not be a good choice. The water glass was a plastic one and wasn’t very inviting to drink water off that.

I recently ordered a lamb roast full tray for my party, but the taste was terrible. My guests and I tried it, and it felt undercooked and tasteless.

Curry goat was good, but $30 for an alright portion and some bread was insane.

Ordered their special for the day - haleem. It was terrible. Remove it from your menu. Definitely don’t put it on specials of the day, if the chef has absolutely no clue what the dish is supposed to look, feel and taste like. Horrid aftertaste of onions fried in rancid oil and just overall a terrible experience.

It is an okay place to eat Indian food. Their Gobi Manchurian and their vegetable hot and sour soup are the best. Full of flavors and had an immense kick of spice.
Their dal and rice with garlic butter naan was a bit; though it lacked salt but we added the salt on top to balance the flavor.
Their chicken 555 and boneless chicken biryani was below average.
Mango lassi was good as well.

Restaurantji Recommends
We were locals visiting this restaurant after reading some of the reviews, frankly we were disappointed. To start with:
1) The staff is very unfriendly. We walked in, no greetings at all from them, just took out two menus and started walking. Not even a smile. This should have been our first hint!
2) As some one noted earlier, the cleaning supplies are very strong in odor, the staff is just spraying the liquids where ever and wiping it down with the same old rag.
3) Choice of menu items was nice, so we tried the Malai Kofta, Goat Biryani and Naan. Food was not bad. However the Naan came out like 15 minutes after they brought the main entrees. So the entree were cold by the time the Naan Arrived. Naan was not soft, it was more rubbery and chewy. Biryani was ok.
4) For what we get, the prices are a little steep, but then again all Indian restaurants like to charge high prices for smaller quantities and everything is ala carte. The price of the papad was the most shocker, charging $6 for two pieces of papad, which is nothing special, it's ready made from the grocery store and they just bake it or fry and serve it. Package of 25 cost around $2.
5) Staff as I said earlier are very cold to customers. After most of our dinner was done, someone came around to ask how was it. I told them about the Naan, reply was I'll let them know, god know who they told. The owner was walking around, not even greeting the customers. Guess his too busy counting dollars to actually greet the customer and ask them how things are going. More interested in dollars then customer service.
6) Simply amazed by lack of cleanliness in the restroom, why is that Indian Restaurants have the dirtiest restroom, this one being no exception to the rule.
7) Atmosphere is ok, nothing great to talk about. Beat up old tables and booths, with scratches galore.
Overall, I doubt I'll be returning to this place in the future. Total let down from all aspects, not worth it considering, they have no appreciation for the customers. Owner needs to understand that without customers, there won't by any shop to run.
Try to be little warm and friendly to the customers, teach your staff on how to approach the customer, have them smile a bit more, be more interactive, when customer is complaining there is something wrong, make it right for them so they feel good. Go and ask the customer several times, how things are? As I said earlier, his too busy counting dollars, assuming he does not need local patrons, since his located in a high tourist traffic area.

Wow ! Cold least bothered about customers
They don’t even bother to smile or greet customers who walk in.
Food is always decent but customers interaction or even if you are a regular patron they don’t care ! Sort of rude and not welcoming
We ordered takeout 2 paneer Tikka masala for 19usd equi 26cad each. I was so disappointed with portion size and taste. This is not paneer Tikka masala. This is shahi paneer. We are from Canada and i understand it's tourist pricing but the taste and portion is pathetic when compared to price👎. I think restaurant owner and chef should visit toronto to check price, qty and taste of real paneer Tikka masala receipe across all.

Horrendous experience overall
The biryani was flavourless, vada undercooked
Poor ambience, dirty tables
Looked like the cleaning staff was fighting with the management- took forever to get a clean table and cutlery was missing
Definitely a skip, nothing at all good about this restaurant
