Bartender rewarded rude, pushy guest by serving them before actual (and obvious) next person in line. Not magical.
Great pool. Get the chips with pulled pork- yum!

Absolutely love the bar service here. The staff are amazing. We had a cucumber mint mojito and it was the best (could use a bit more booze but I feel that way about all Disney drinks for the most part). The island chicken Caesar salad is so good.

Wow, gorgeous and great service. Lovely!
Dreamed of staying here - not worth the $ This had been a dream for x20+ years to stay here. We were greeted at reception and our honeymoon stay were given x2 single beds. This was soon changed to x2 queen size beds. The Mary poppins decor was pleasant enough. The double bathroom sinks were great apart from the long dark hairs in the sink from the previous guest. A pillow had x3 stains on it when we arrived. We were keen to get ready and go to WDW. There wasn’t an iron or ironing board in the room and had to wait x30 mins for each to be brought up to the room. The staff looked tired and lacking Disney sparkle which we are used to at the other resorts we have stayed at many many times since 1988. The large swimming pool outside the accommodation was great - but the building work on the roofs close by was just way too loud to relax. We went to another pool where the adult slide was out of action. Went back to the Accom building and went through the flyer to the back to get a lake view towards magic kingdom. There was a member of staff painting the white wood work and the concrete step we were stood on was crumbling under foot. Not great. We decided to go to Mickey’s store upstairs from reception - mercantle - I believe it was called….. we collect resort and regular pins. No grand Floridian pins available - all sold out. Asked about nightmare before Christmas / Hocus Pocus / Mickey Halloween popcorn buckets / all sold out. Went to use the rest room on the ground floor - the middle tap when I went to wash my hands was hanging off with loose pipes. Grafitti in the toilets. The large aviary structure in foyer has damage to it. The photo pass staff on the 1st floor with Cinderella’s shoe were not engaging at all and were bored out of their minds on more than one occasion when we went past. Other grounds of the hotel have scaffolding and ruin the look / feel. Really wasn’t warned about any of this before our stay. Took a walk to magic kingdom. On return had to wait almost an hour for a small boat to take us back to the resort. All a pretty unpleasant experience this hotel for £500+ per night. Sad to say - we definitely won’t be back. The transportation bus service were very nice and made our day. The real flower displays around the place are a nice touch. When we checked out there wasn’t even a THANKYOU for staying with us. Nothing. Very poor. We left bags with the team at the front of the hotel. When my bag was given back there was a collectors pin missing from it. Mentioned it to the staff member who shrugged his shoulders!
Soulfully serene, stress-melting, rejuvenating oasis for unwinding, for a personalized journey of self-care and wellness. The staff are exceptionally trained, excelling in high class customer service, while making you feel welcomed, pampered, and taken care of, as if you were V.I.P.!
I wonder how the ADA would respond to not allowing handicap parking for restaurant reservations here at TGF. The handicap parking is reserved for overnight guests only. This was not disclosed. The gate security informed me that I have to drop off my handicap wife and park across the Main Street if dining at the restaurant. And it was raining. When I pulled up to the door, I was informed for parking on-site one must valet for $33 which I did but not happy about.
We stayed in a lagoon view in the Boca Chica building. The view could not be beat with views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks each night. The sleeper hit is the electrical water pageant which is at 8:30pm each night. The refurbished rooms are beautiful and functional. We liked it so much we bought DVC at the resort.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It is beautiful- the grounds, the pools and the rooms. It has a wonderful vibe about it which makes it an absolute pleasure to stay at. Getting the boat to magic kingdom was a huge added bonus and made the experience even better. You can always find niggles, but there were remarkably few at this hotel. I would really recommend this as a great base for your Disney experience.
Not as relaxing as some of the other resorts & the menu is small but the cast member service makes up for it.

First impressions very disappointing. We were told of “on going enhancements”. It wasn’t. It was major re-construction inside and outside the main hotel. However the adjacent block in which we stayed was exceptional. It had clearly been refurbished to a very high standard. As a result of the construction work not all amenities were opened. In particular there was limited choice with restaurants. The hotel is very handy for traveling to all Disney Parks. The restaurant Narcoossee’s was excellent with great views of the fireworks. You do need to book early to get a reservation.
Stayed in the Boca Chica building as a family with young children. All the rooms have been refurbished in 2023. The design is beautiful and elegant but still fun and whimsical and practical. Lots of space, easy to maneuver around if a family of 5 in comparison to room sizes at Yacht Club for example which also has rooms that sleep 5. Staff are amongst the friendliest and most helpful at this resort. Take advantage of a resort “tour” via golf cart offered by the bellstaff at checkin, it will help you get accustomed quickly to the layout. Gasparilla grill is great for quick service, Narcoossee’s is phenomenal! Don’t miss a chance to eat there. Citricos is beautiful in terms of decor but hit or miss with food.
Men dressed as women coming into women’s locker room in spa area where REAL women are changing. Hotel’s response; “ we’re all inclusive.” I understand, however, where is my privacy??? Disney is going downhill quick. My husband and I will NEVER stay here again!
