Better Than Sex - A Dessert Restaurant

The dessert was less than stellar. My expectations were set far too high on quality of food. If you’re interested in reading suggestive descriptions then this is your place.

We love the whole concept, the atmosphere, and service but to be honest the desserts were average. The cheesecake was dry to the point of it being crumbly. I didn’t finish it and I love cheesecake. The coffee being rimmed in caramel and chocolate was unique and delicious I will say we enjoyed that. I think a tad bit more light would really help, it’s super dark inside. Good luck on finding any parking, we had to literally park down the road. It would be nice to have a few more nut free options for us who have nut allergies. We’re glad we tried it but sadly we will not be returning for a second time.

Parking: You have to park down the street to even get to the restaurant. There is only a few parking spots available in front of the restaurant.

Loved our experience with staff, menu construction with story and engagement, and delectable desserts. They appeared very receptive to listening to patrons. Look forward to going back again with hopefully future uplifts to atmosphere.

As a pastry chef, this was the most dissatisfying dessert I’ve ever had. Even the wine tasted watered down. I came on a date with my fiance and we were both incredibly unhappy with both the dessert and the wine. If you call yourself a place of “romance” and ruin a celebration with the quality of the food…..and the wine, then why even claim being a dessert and non-liquor establishment???

Do better please. Not for me, but for all the other couples who are trying to enjoy a night out.

Though the dessert is exceptional, the service is even better. Every time I’m in Orlando I definitely make my way to Better Than Sex. This sexy grilled cheese is to die for and that sauce they have on the side is the perfect pair. If I could just bathe in it, that would be perfect.

Excellent place to bring that special someone. The atmosphere was low light they had options of sitting next to each other or across. I was in the area was able to call and luckily they had space available. No dress code required desserts were amazing and so were the drink options. The service was amazing they were able to accommodate us and explained everything as it was my girlfriend and I first time.

Service was good. Very attentive. Drinks were good. Food was not the best. Decor was nice. Atmosphere was nice. reservations were easy to make.

Spectacular! They treated me very well. Super recommended for couples. They didn't have a vegan menu on my visit but they promised to please me on the next visit. ?❤️

The dessert was amazing!! The pairing of delicious flavors were nothing like I've ever tasted. The atmosphere was a 10!!! Incredibly romantic mood!!! Definitely coming back on my next Orlando visit! Loved every bit of this experience!!

Kinky, intimate and dark atmosphere with suggestive photos around. Must make reservation for inside on Saturday night, it's full. I liked the decoration and service is quick but the dessert was actually subpar and really expensive $13-$24. You know it's shocking when they try to shock you less by removing the dollar sign on the (ipad) menu.
