Such a fun breakfast experience! There was loads of food options from oatmeal to bacon and eggs to some traditional dishes. They had Mickey Waffles and syrup, fruit, pancakes, granola bowls and yoghurt. Everything was delicious.
The bread pudding was amazing!! We would recommend.
Nearing the end of our meal they did a performance with the drums which was an unexpected surprise.
We would definitely go back.

This was a super cool place to eat at right at Animal Kingdom. It was a breakfast buffet and there was some very good food to choose from

Visited for the first time, we checked in online;the waiting area is very disorganized and chaotic. Took 20 minutes to be seated when our reservation was for 5:00pm. When we were seated the cast member said to wait for our server who proceeded to take another 15 minutes to get to us. She was very kind and she was nearly running everywhere to attend people because there wasn't many servers. She said said we don't have to wait in line you can start anywhere. So it's funny trying to get food, because people get pissed thinking you must make a line...You don't!
The line that forms is for the meats not the entire buffet. Anyway, our food was cold, from the meats to the rice. Truly not sure how Boma has such a high rating, the highest quality food items I tried were the desserts. That's the only thing I got seconds of. Because everything else was cold. Even the soup 🙂 Does it warrant a $150.00 price tag?? ... Defintiely not.

The food is really good but the guy carving the meat gave me these tiny pieces to where I eventually said forget it and just stopped eating
This restaurant was arguably one of the best during our trip!! We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, which this restaurant was super convenient and we went for breakfast. I was a little skeptical at first because this place is known for their variety of food and I myself, am a bit of a picky eater. However, the buffet was so big and I found that there were plenty of options for everyone. They had your typical breakfast foods and also had other things like unique pastries and breakfast foods that were freshly made! I'd argue that the quality of the food here was honestly better than most places, as far as breakfast goes, amongst Disney restaurants. Our server was also super friendly and was so sweet and very on top of things (kept asking if we needed refills, silverware, etc.) and everyone was super friendly. The theming of the restaurant is also so beautiful and matches the theme of the rest of the resort. If you are on the dining plan, be aware that this is considered a sit down restaurant so a sit down credit would be used. I totally 10/10 recommend it here and would totally come back again!

This restaurant used to be flavors of Africa and now it’s more like flavors of bland. I’m really disappointed in the decline of the food quality at this restaurant because it used to be my favorite place to eat breakfast. It seems like they have slowly been removing all the flavors over the past couple of years. first, they removed the seasoning from the sausage and tater tots (I used to love the seasoning that they had on the tater tots.. now it’s gone). Then last time I was there, they even removed the seasoning from the watermelon slices. I’m gonna give the restaurant one more shot when I’m there in October.. but if they haven’t returned the food to its former glory by then I probably will no longer bother.
Boma used to be so unique and now it’s just the same bland breakfast food that you can get anywhere else… so sad.

The food is great! However, expect a long wait even with a reservation. Very cool place but, they have a hard time keeping up with demand. Overall, food was good but took way too long past our designated reservation to get seated.

Be Adventurous, Try A Little of Everything
Set in the lower level of the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jambo House, sits this buffet style eatery that is designed to look like an African market. We had just a short wait to be seated and a server took our drink order and explained the layout. I do believe non-alcohol beverages like coffee, tea and soda are included, not 100% sure. Beer and cocktails are available. On one side of the restaurant are numerous pods, or stations, with various foods. One end starts with proteins and ends with desserts. In the middle are salads and soups. I tried a wide variety of the offerings, while my wife just sampled a few as she had less of an appetite. The Seafood Stew was excellent. Lots of various seafood, a variety of veggies in a light broth. The Lamb Stew could have just as easily been a beef based soup. Not a stew, more of a soup. Pass if you want to taste lamb. The Yassa Style Salmon was tasty indeed. Thick pieces of salmon, covered with a unique blend of spices and who knows what else. Moist and flavorful. Many flavorful veggie dishes to choose from. And to top it all off, there are many dessert choices. Cookies for some, fancier attractions for others. The Butterscotch Bread Pudding was a real treat for me. Then again, so was the Pie Cup with Apple Raisin Compote. And the little round treats filled with different mousses – heaven! Dinner price including sales tax is $123.54 for two adults or $61.77 per adult, plus tip. It is a bit to spend for dinner, but considering you’re dining at a hotel restaurant at Disney World, experiencing flavors from another land, I didn’t think it was too bad. In fact, I’m glad we had dinner there and we both really enjoyed the tasting adventure we experienced. The staff never made us feel rushed and we took our time is this creative setting.
Wow I love this place so much. We had buffet dinner here and the service and food were top tier. Server takes care of drink orders and anything else you may need and you can easily go to and from the buffet. So much variety and flavors that are not found anywhere else in the area. Such a great restaurant and vibe.
So we went 2 years ago and it was so good we came back but this time it was not!!Lady serving prime rib embarrassed me cause I asked for 4 slices people working was not as happy not a good experience we probably wont be back I wish I went to Brazilian steakhouse for the price we paid funnest part we took walk around building and saw animals
This was the best meal we had in Disney! It’s an African buffet. The food is so good and I feel you could come 100 times and have something new every time. It was fun trying new things and the kids even liked that too! The chef suggested items for our kids to be excited about and overall just a great experience! The soups were delicious and the corn pudding was so good! The deserts were amazing. I recommend this restaurant!
Overpriced for ok food . Not a ton of options for 58$ a person
