Food is nice but the service was abysmal. Staff couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery. Only staff member with any sense was Adrian - he opened another till when he could see the queue was huge and was effective at getting people their food. We had Flavie wait our table and she made a mess of our order and Adrian had to sort it out.

Personnel here work like robot. The person at the door does not acknowledge what so ever. The lady giving the food. Just drop the food at the table and walk away. Even though I was sitting outside and was my first time there, she could not inform me that the utensils I need to get them inside. Went to get the utensils and there was not napkins. I informed to one of the workers at the register and he told me ok and walked away. Overall, this place has zero customer and people service skills. I will not recommend or come back to this place again.

Marvel Character Dinner- 6-22

1. Food- I don’t know why so many people bash the food. We enjoyed it. The garlic shrimp scampi was delicious and there were a lot of choices. We had no complaints and enjoyed it. Was it a five star restaurant, no of course not.
2. Characters- Fantastic, everyone of them spent a lot of time at each table, signing autographs, taking pics etc. we saw Spiderman, Captain America, Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, and Rogue. Spider-Man deserved a special mention, he was awesome!
3. Price- almost $60 a person
4. Service- drinks were refilled promptly, no issues.
5. Only things I didn’t like was them holding people and only letting one table at a time get buffet, it was unnecessary as there was not that many people there.

my family and I sat outside on the patio. we only had half of our drinks delivered to us, no napkins, no straws, plates were hidden between the cardboard pizza tray, but the waiter told us that was also inside, so we wasted time grabbing them too, only discovering the sandwiched ones after our meal. overall, an annoying experience, and not fantastic for the four of us. food was decent though.

Great cheap eats, compared to all the other places to eat. A large pizza, quite large, was able to feed a 4 people family for $44 dollars. Cheapest option for a family of 4. The theme was fantastic 4 and it serves Italian style food. Alfredo pasta, meat balls and marinara sauce etc. right next to the Hulk ride.

We did the marvel character dinning…the food was terrible and staff couldn’t remember our silverware or drinks. It seemed chaotic. I gave this 3 stars based on the character interaction alone. My 3 boys met with 6 cast members and they each took their time with each table. Each kid loved their interaction and picture time. The characters were the only good part of this meal.
Improve the food and this would be so nice. There was 1 type of pizza (chicken Alfredo) that looked crusty and dry. I opted for the burger….it was rubbery and dry. The pasta was made with a weird sauce? I honestly couldn’t find anything good about the food here. Just avoid this place and don’t pay for the character dinning. $300 for my family to have trash food and pictures with characters….which we could have gotten on the street for half the price.

Don’t do the marvel character dinning.

Slowest service ever. Be aware.

Very long wait for the food. The food, itself, is unspeakably bad. Do yourself a favor and try somewhere else. Two stars because it was a relief to get some air conditioning after roasting for two hours.

The garlic knot was delicious, but the Alfredo sauce was very bland. I ate it all because I was hungry but I would suggest elsewhere. I have had much better vegan alfredo.

Absolutely terrible experience. Mobile ordering system does not work and charges credit card without getting what I paid for. Steer clear of this restaurant!

I never leave negative reviews but this deserves one. Went with my grandchidren (one who is on Spectrum (6) and brother (8)) so I very purposely made reservation right at 5pm to avoid waiting in line (melt downs). They opened at 5pm not a minute before and it took over 1/2 hour to be seated while waiting/standing in hot sun. Then they didn’t accept the Universal confirmation number for my prepaid meals even though they could see me in the system because they needed a certain code that was only sent to my travel agent. I waited for over 20 minutes in front of everyone (almost in middle of room) while they called the office to get the number they needed to check me in — all while passively aggressively berating me in plain view of the other diners. As you can imagine, the kids were hot, frustrated, and bored and my special needs child started touching a set of silverware at an empty table near where he was standing with us while I was trying to sort out the reservation with the manager - and he proceeded to tell me loud enough for the other diners to hear me to control my special needs child because he was touching the sanitized fork. I was doing the best I could while trying to straighten it out while left standing in the middle of the other diners — you would think they would at least offer the children someplace to sit while we worked through it. No empathy at all! We were finally seated and then ate (food was tolerable but nothing more). Long after we finished our meal and had been there at least an hour since we were seated… it became abundantly clear that the characters went to all table around us - even when they were seated at least 40 mins after us - skipping our table. I finally went to ask the person who was in charge of directing the characters if there was something we needed to do to have the characters come by because they skipped our table and was told ‘they’ll get to you eventually’. So then after a 90 minute wait (this isn’t a large place) .. long after we were done eating and the children were upset and bored silly, they finally got to meet Spider-Man (their favorite superhero— (each wearing their spider hats ?)). The character actors were the only saving grace. They were just wonderful to the children and I really appreciated their kindness. As for the rest of the meal and the horrible treatment by staff, I would strongly recommend against going to Cafe 4 at Universal Orlando — especially if you have a special needs child.

First meal during our visit to Universal studio.
€67 for 4 drinks, 2 slices of pizza (classic in taste), a meatball sandwich (pretty good) and fettucini Alfredo.
As in the majority of restaurants in the park, you will first be asked to order your meal online on the Universal application and you will then be served directly at the table.
