The garlic knot was delicious, but the Alfredo sauce was very bland. I ate it all because I was hungry but I would suggest elsewhere. I have had much better vegan alfredo.

Absolutely terrible experience. Mobile ordering system does not work and charges credit card without getting what I paid for. Steer clear of this restaurant!

I never leave negative reviews but this deserves one. Went with my grandchidren (one who is on Spectrum (6) and brother (8)) so I very purposely made reservation right at 5pm to avoid waiting in line (melt downs). They opened at 5pm not a minute before and it took over 1/2 hour to be seated while waiting/standing in hot sun. Then they didn’t accept the Universal confirmation number for my prepaid meals even though they could see me in the system because they needed a certain code that was only sent to my travel agent. I waited for over 20 minutes in front of everyone (almost in middle of room) while they called the office to get the number they needed to check me in — all while passively aggressively berating me in plain view of the other diners. As you can imagine, the kids were hot, frustrated, and bored and my special needs child started touching a set of silverware at an empty table near where he was standing with us while I was trying to sort out the reservation with the manager - and he proceeded to tell me loud enough for the other diners to hear me to control my special needs child because he was touching the sanitized fork. I was doing the best I could while trying to straighten it out while left standing in the middle of the other diners — you would think they would at least offer the children someplace to sit while we worked through it. No empathy at all! We were finally seated and then ate (food was tolerable but nothing more). Long after we finished our meal and had been there at least an hour since we were seated… it became abundantly clear that the characters went to all table around us - even when they were seated at least 40 mins after us - skipping our table. I finally went to ask the person who was in charge of directing the characters if there was something we needed to do to have the characters come by because they skipped our table and was told ‘they’ll get to you eventually’. So then after a 90 minute wait (this isn’t a large place) .. long after we were done eating and the children were upset and bored silly, they finally got to meet Spider-Man (their favorite superhero— (each wearing their spider hats ?)). The character actors were the only saving grace. They were just wonderful to the children and I really appreciated their kindness. As for the rest of the meal and the horrible treatment by staff, I would strongly recommend against going to Cafe 4 at Universal Orlando — especially if you have a special needs child.

First meal during our visit to Universal studio.
€67 for 4 drinks, 2 slices of pizza (classic in taste), a meatball sandwich (pretty good) and fettucini Alfredo.
As in the majority of restaurants in the park, you will first be asked to order your meal online on the Universal application and you will then be served directly at the table.

Gotta say, it was nothing worth wild... better off hitting a food cart.
The desert was fine, but the pizza just wasn't good, and the chicken Alfredo was kinda like a microwavable dinner that was reheated a couple days later.

What a fantastic Marvel Character Dinner!! The buffet was absolutely delicious!! It has a large variety of food and desserts! The characters interacted with the children in such a friendly and inclusive way!! I would book character dinner over and over again!! An absolute must do at Universal!!!

Kid-friendliness: Super experience for marvel character lovers!

Cafe 4 is my go to place to get lunch at Universal's Islands of Adventure. You order and pay for your food through the Universal Orlando app and it's brought right to your table. My favorite things to get are the spaghetti and meatballs and/or the caesar salad, the latter of which I get if I'm not starving but I still need something to eat. The food quality is good for a quick service theme park restaurant. I do have to say that I wish that this restaurant wasn't connected to the arcade, because the arcade doors are always open and it lets hot air in. As a result, it isn't as cold in Cafe 4 as I'd like it to be. Other than that, it's a good place to have lunch.

Terrible service, food was NASTY. And we waited almost an hour for a regular Alfredo and water!!!! We went to ask the waiter and she shoo’ed us away and was incredibly rude. If you plan on coming here;

Order a large pizza for a family of 4. Paid 45 for a small pizza, it came almost 30 minutes later. We had 2 slices left and I asked for a take out box, but I was told to just grab two plates and make my own. They did not have any bags or anything to carry the improvised “box”.

If you want the chicken alfredo, it is unseasoned and disgusting (I don't like the cardboard flavor it tasted like). Couldn't finish more than 3 bites after not eating for 8+ hours. The spaghetti was edible. Not good, but edible. The drink was the best part of the meal, if only the server didn't spill a bunch on the tray/food too, but hey, maybe it added some flavor it obviously was lacking. Do yourself a favor and don't eat here, spend your $20 on food you'll actually eat/enjoy

Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible by wheelchair, but only if you get an end table and sit half in the aisle. Kids will definitely run into you though because you'll basically be in a walkway

My husband and son did the character dinner and it was not worth the money for it at all. They said the food was not the greatest that the meats they were carving looked undercooked. The pizza tasted like day old little Ceasars pizza and that it took forever to get drinks and such. The experience with the characters was bad too they say they will come to tables and interact with kids and such at tables but that's a lie, you have to get up from your table and stand in long lines to meet the characters and they dont interact that much with you. Don't waste your money on it because it's not worth the price you pay.
