Coffee is not good and pastries were just okay, maybe a few days old and cold.

We had a good meal here, bar food, good waffle fries. Good place to watch the game when at Disney.

No quality high price sucks coffee
We were staying at the Coronado and wanted to eat nearby and chose this restaurant due to it being a sports bar and my son loving sports. The atmopshere worked great, but the food and drink prices left a lot to be desired. The drinks were so boring and basic, yet were $16-18 a piece. Most basic beers were over $10. I ordered the soup and grilled cheese with bacon and tomato and it was $19! I was expecting a lot of food for that price and all I got was a small bowl of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich like I would make at home with white bread, one piece of American, 1 slice of tomato and 1 piece of bacon. My son's kid burger tasted off too, like it was a mix of beef and turkey maybe, so he didn't eat the whole thing. The restrooms were also really far away. You had to go all the way around to the conference center, which I found really odd. We wouldn't go back.
Love the coffee but the pastries are the stars. Among the best I've ever had.

A lot of people here are writing reviews for Rix Sports Bar & Grill, which is NOT the same as Cafe Rix. Cafe Rix is just a standard grab and go quick spot at Coronado - not the dine in restaurant. So no, you're not going to find servers here, you're not going to find salmon, burgers, and beer.... The restaurant is completely separate so I suggest you ignore those reviews if you're looking to actually read about Cafe Rix.Now on to the real place. Coffee isn't the best and is sometimes no different than what you'd find at any other resort on property (unless that resort specifies they're using Joffrey's), yet they charge more here. For example, a latte here is $5.39. It's $3.99 at Capt. Cook's at the Polynesian resort. Even the double latte at the Poly is a tiny bit cheaper. A lot of the grab and go food is what you'd find elsewhere as well, just more expensive. Whole fruit, for example, is $5 according to the menu. Sorry but even for Disney prices, paying that much for a banana is outrageous when other locations on property has it for less than half. Nothing you see here will be unique or blow your mind amazing, so it certainly doesn't justify the higher prices. If I were to guess, it's taking advantage of the convention guests who are truly the ones they're catering to for that quick fix before heading into conferences. I suppose it does suffice for a quick fix, which is what Cafe Rix is intended to be. But honestly, if you're looking for a quick bite, just walk a few feet to El Mercado, which is the food court. You'll spend the same amount of money and get more/better food out of it.

Food and services was amazing
I can see why this is only open till 12:30. Rude workers. Coffee sucked. Nothing on there menu was there to purchase. All this for overpriced items. Will not be back again or recommend this hole.

Coffee tasted terrible. $6 “cold brew” coffee tasted like yesterdays gas station coffee was put in the fridge over night. Tried to drink it, but had to stop it tasted so bad.

Great place to watch the game. Lively friendly crowds. All enjoying the game while having a good burger wings or a beer. The wedge salad was also very good but the salmon add on was overcooked. Would go back in future .

Was here 18 months ago and since then they have maintained the same woeful service. Worst attitude of Disney staff and certainly the slowest. If you want a quick coffee and pastry then go elsewhere.

We stopped in for lunch as a family and really enjoyed our food. We ordered two tuna’s and one blue cheese salad and all loved our meals. It’s been difficult to find a good tuna dish since we came to Orlando so this was a nice surprise. The staff were great, our server was with a trainee too and both team members were really friendly, helpful and attentive. We had a great lunch whilst the weather went south outside, moving us to the bar afterwards. Would recommend.
