My sister and I usually eat at the East Colonial location when I'm in town and their fish strips are always a nice size and fresh. We always order the two piece fish with hush puppies, fries, and coleslaw.My experience at the West Colonial location was the exact opposite.My fish strips (2) were very small and dark compared to my sister's plate. Hers looked like the menu picture, good sized and lightly golden.We ordered the exact same thing so I don't know why mine looked much darker and tasted like pure grease.Needless to say, my stomach was rumbling a few hours later. I'll spare you the details.

I love Capt D's and we always order the family feast or the 10 piece family meal. Unfortunately the last two times ordering from this location food has been not so good... This time the fish was hard and at least 4 pieces looked as if they fell down in the grease and had brown burnt food from grease all over them.. Like they missed the basket and had to be fished out after hitting all that sediment in the grease that settles in bottom of oil. Which make me ask how old the oil was. I have went to this Capt D's for years and this is the worse I have ever had. It's sucks that the next one is so far away. On top of that i ordered through Capt D's website and was charged $6.75 delivery fee which door dash delivers and could of ordered through door dash and paid no delivery fee.SMH. So after paying $60 for food that wasn't fully edible I don't think I will be eating fish anymore unless I'm in Winter Garden. Too much to pay for food like that..:(

The customer service is very nasty at the front counter. The food was overcooked, And everything was ruined because these people felt like it was not appropriate to bring the food to the table. Every other Captain D's in the central florida area walks the tray to the table to the customer who purchased the food. These people decided to be rude petty and scream the ticket number after asking can they please bring it. A sign of lazy behavior. This whole experience was disgusting!!!!!!!!
