Made reservations online for my wife and I for Easter breakfast. The “main” restaurant area is very nice. Since we had a party of 2, I guess they decided to put us in the “back” overflow area. I understand it's a busy day and they probably needed the overflow or offered empty tables in the main area, but instead of looking at the beautiful grounds we were placed at a small table right up next to a big pillar. Our waitress was very sweet, kind and attentive.

So we get there a little after 7pm and get seated right away. I noticed things on the buffet that were not on the BBQ menu. I asked where was the brisket and ribs and they said that was yesterday but it was supposed to be for the 17th and 18th with the fireworks on the 18th that's why I set it for the 18th. Since we drove there we stayed for the buffet however the food was terrible. The strip loin was well done and tough the mahi was dry the pork chops was overcooked. they said there is a pasta bar but the only thing on there was pre made risotto which was gummy and no flavor. The salad was the beast thing on the buffet. The server was great and he let the manager know about our complaint. The manager came over with his cell phone in hand with the BBQ menu on it and just apologized. Needless to say we didn't stay for the fire works and on the way out there were two signs showing the BBQ was for the 17th and 18th. Very disappointing

Came in at 9:30pm, left at 22:30. For NYE dinner we had expected a lot more, especially for the price! Dry sushi, low variety of food, not fresh, cold pasta for the kids. Ordered a 2nd bottle of still water, but run out! Very bad service. Gladly, we had some great snacks at the bar at the Ritz before dinner. But in one sentence it ruined our NY eve spirit.

Christmas dinner was amazing. Food was spectacular but ambiance left you feeling like having dinner at a VFW. For the price, the setup could have been a lot better. Service was really good.

I called and spoke to the restaurant when making the reservation and asked if the champagne was included and unlimited. I was told yes. Included in the High price of $135pp. When we sat down we were told ONE glass was included but we could an ADDTIONAL $25pp to have unlimited. We told them that was not what we were told and then they said sorry we were Not the only ones that were told that but we still had to pay more!!! Very disappointed !!!

The Christmas buffet was well worth it. Beat having to slave away in the kitchen. The staff made our dining experience most enjoyable from the hostess to our waiter..everyone we met served us pleasantly. We enjoyed it thoroughly!

We have been attending Christmas Day lunch at the American Brasserie for the last 9 years. As a family we love everything about the day. Food, service was at the usual high standard. Only thing is it was disappointing not to see Santa this year, our grandson loves seeing him. The other thing was that we didn't get the usual bottomless champagne. Not saying we drink a lot. It it's always a nice touch.

The Christmas Eve buffet was below our expectations. We were looking for an “American” buffet and what was presented was anything but American. The highlight was a Pasta station. For the price we were not impressed. A carving station of Ham, Turkey and or Roast Beef would have made a lot of difference. The only beef on the buffet was short rib of beef that was overcooked and very dry. The dessert selection was very nice as was our server Wendi.

Our server did an amazing job this evening helping us celebrate Christmas Eve supper at the JW. The food was delicious and the price was unbelievable at $45. Normally this restaurant has breakfast buffet only but they opened for Christmas Eve supper and the food selection of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food was spot on. Everything was just perfect.

Very disappointing compared to previous years. The seafood buffet was much smaller and the vegetable choice was poor. Our server seemed more interested in the table behind us as he walked past 6 times before offering drinks refills. Perhaps there is now a limit on how much wine is available. Although 2 glasses didn't seem that much. The price has gone up so much it is definitely not now value for money.

Good service and good food— really enormous portions. Food comes relatively quickly if you are constrained for time.

This is the breakfast restaurant located in the JW Marriott. The breakfast buffet well worth it if your getting ready for a long day. you will be left full for the remainder of day. We had our regular buffet fair the scrambled eggs, pork sausage, crispy bacon. Surprising on a saturday they did not have traditional breakfast potatoes but rather another diced potatoes dish. I must admit not having traditional breakfast hashbrowns was disappointing. We went around 830 and while we were seated right away it was packed. The waffle station quickly made waffle but didn't put on the additional toppings whip cream or chocolate syrup. Disappointing. But the good thing is bubble waffles really just needs syrup. I also loved loved loved the carrot turmeric pineapple smoothie. it was electrifying. During the week I went again to Citron and ordered a la carte. Initially I ordered pastrami hash scramble it was wayyyy too salty and the potatoes were hard. i didn't like it but my waitress was so nice and asked me if it was ok. When I said no she told me I can get anything else I wanted. I ordered the waffle and it did not disappoint it came with all the fixings!

Breakfast is good especially if included with Marriott status. Good food and service. Can be noisy.
