You may think that going to a restaurant on Mother’s Day is a mistake! Not at Crocante. We had the most amazing waitress, Lizette, the food was beyond delicious, and the waiting time was very short. This place is definitely my favorite Puerto-Rican restaurant.

Have eaten here several times. Not crowded at lunch and always delicious. This time, both my lunch companion and I had Sandwiches with included nicely sized fresh side salads. My Porcheta sandwich was so yummy that I was moved to write a review this time! It had a ton of meat that was just the right amount of salty and with bits of the crunchy skin. The sauce on it was so good, too. My friend also really enjoyed his rotisserie chicken sandwich which was very flavorful.

Loud. I do it recommend sitting in the back.
That said- the food is amazing. The stuffed chicken was moist. The bacon was perfectly crisp. The fries are well seasoned and the home made hot sauce (not too hot) was delicious. The fried steak empanada with the egg was delicious and huge. Well try the non-breaded next time. The chimichurri on the churrasco steak was cooked perfectly and a new favorite. Highly recommend this place.
