Loved, loved the food. Especially the lamb biryani and Chicken Xakut! The portions could be a little more.I feel for the restaurant though, due to the pandemic there are really very few customers. If you are in town or if you are local please support this restaurant!
We dropped in last night after an Epcot day famished and ready to eat and get home. Due to recent worldwide health events, we were the only diners (on a Saturday night!) until an Indian family came in. We did not let the circumstances deter us, and we were glad they didn't. The service was friendly and attentive. Indian cuisine, as most fans know, is not a single cuisine. I think of the country as a continent, with regional favorites. UPDATE! Stopped by over the weekend and saw a very sad sign ... Dakshin has closed and will not reopen. Our heart breaks for the loss of a fantastic restaurant of many years in our community. We will always have the fond memories of great food and great people. WE LOVE YOU! Please do let us know if you are able to reopen in a new location in the future as you truly are a cherished part of the local community!
