We stayed 8 days at Universal. We had one night that we didn’t feel like going anywhere. The pizza was good. It was hot and the delivery girl was very sweet. Yes you most certainly can get better pizza elsewhere. However for a night in this pizza was fine.

I thought the pizza was decent for theme park/ theme park resort pizza. We didn’t do delivery. Had it made fresh at the diner. They do have theme park prices, but I don’t know why anybody in the comments would expect different…Vegetarian options: Have a margarita pizza and cheese pizza.

How do you not have olives? The salad bar has olives use those. Worst pizza options, boo.

Pizza is just not very good.

The staff was wonderful. If you don't want to visit parks you can certainly enjoy the resort. Starbucks on site. Lots of choices with food, bowling and game room. Lazy river was fun and who wouldn't want to enjoy the pool from morning till late evening.

We have stayed here before and keep coming back. We love this place.for many reasons. The pools along with the theme of the resort are very attractive. We enjoy the atmosphere here. There are also places to find that are quiet in the evening and we are able to relax.

Just finishing two great weeks at Cabana. The rooms are a decent size and were clean, housekeeping were always prompt and through. My daughter thought it hilarious that her four plush toys were moved and positioned on the bed differently each day, that was a nice touch given how busy housekeeping are in maintaining all the rooms. We chose this hotel based on its great location, it has a quick side entrance to Volcano Bay and the free shuttle bus to Universal City Walk takes only a few minutes and it seemed there was always a bus waiting ready to go when we went to the bus stop. Disney Springs is $15-$20 by Uber or Lyft. The hotel has a cafeteria open all day plus two pool side cafes. Personally I would like to have had a full service sit down restaurant but to be fair that’s not at this hotel’s price point and with City Walk and International Drive a few minutes away there is plenty of choice there. We could have stayed at one of the other Universal hotels with a restaurant but we prioritised the location and access to Volcano Bay. It’s all a matter of preferences. Finally, it would be amis to not say how fabulous the pool’s many lifeguards are. They are always sharp and on the ball and have a very efficient process if one jumps in after a child they are instantly replaced on the seat by another to watch over the pool. I always felt my daughter was very safe. BTW : The staff at Volcano Bay operate a similar system and there many lifeguards at every point.

We loved staying in one of the towers. It's quieter and more private. If you can, splurge for a Volcano bay water park view on a higher floor. Bring tubes for the lazy river because the hotel charges the rent per day/per person. The food courts is great, very 50's, a lot of food choices. Bowling is awesome too. The 2 pools are great. Loved the slide. You can do a 15min walk to the parks. You can take the hotel shuttles. fast and cool. For the water park, the hotel offers a private entrance. I felt pampered. Cons: A lot of guests were smoking around the buildings and some guests are very disrespectful and don't clean after themselves, so the staff can't keep up to clean all the tables. In case u will do Disney too, you are no more than 30 min from one of their parks. We used Uber. We also used instacart to buy water and snacks for the room. The rooms have small refrigerators and you can use the microwave at the food court. I recommend buying the souvenir mug to get free drinks at the resort. But a different one at the parks. We brought a Powerade bottle to the parks and refilled with filtered water. Use the early park admission and run for Hagrid's, Forbidden Journey and the Velocicoaster. Then Hippogriff, Jurassic park, Hulk, Dr Doom and cool down at DudleyDoRight &Popeye. Then go to Universal Studios by Hogwards Xpress train. Buy park to park tickets! Do Escape from Gringotts, Mummy, Sp.Man, Transformers, Jimmy F, F&F, KKong, ET, RockIt, Minions & Simpsons. Eat Voodoo Donuts!

We stayed here in July as a family of 4, in a family suite. First impressions, we were really impressed and exceeded our expectations. We stayed in Thunderbirds with an external pool view suite. The room was huge with a small living area with partitioned doors leading into the bedroom with two double beds. The vanity area had two sinks with a separate toilet and then a separate bath/shower opposite. There was also a separate section with a hanging rail, shelf, safe and storageto keep 4 large suitcases. The room really was huge. The pool area was really big with plenty of loungers. The bar area was great and there were lifeguards on duty from pool opened until close. Bayliner diner was surprisingly really good for lunch/dinner. Separate counters for separate foods. Food was served on real plates and wasn't overly expensive. We purchased refillable mugs, these were really good value. $20 for the whole stay and could be used from icee's, sodas, tea, coffee, water, etc. We used the buses everyday and never waited anymore than 10mims for a bus, which took around 5mins to get to the parks. We also used the walkway to the parks which were directly behind the thunderbird building. Took around 20 mins which was OK, but much preferred the buses. We used the walkway to volcano bay which was so handy, was only 5 min walk to the main entrance. We all loved our stay at Cabana Bay and will definitely stay here again.

We had just left a Disney resort to stay at Universal and perhaps the excellence we experienced at Disney clouded our experience at this hotel because it just did not come close to the level of customer service. The lady who checked us in was impolite and not thorough which led to me having to return and wait in line again. A simple process of having a parcel sent to the hotel was very badly dealt with by a number of members of staff which thoroughly inconvenienced my stay on a number of occasions. Guests were allowed to openly smoke pot in outdoor guest areas which we were upset that our children were exposed to. Staff working on the cash registers at the Bayliner were fantastic. Very friendly and polite and a pleasure to deal with. The whole feel of the resort was let down by other staff members. Walls are thin, noise from corridors travels and woke us up a number of times. We will not return.

Our room was great and most of the staff were good. The pool bars and food were way above expectation. However, the hotel is not accessible - the door buttons were inoperable making our mobility device using family member unable to navigate the hotel at all. The pools were also unsanitary and not well life-guarded.

We were very satisfied with our stay, both in terms of the hotel and the parks. Staff, Cleanliness, equipments... Very good choice. Julie T. (From Destination Attractions Orlando) organized everything for us and I highly recommend her. Everything was perfect. (Preparation, booking, advice, support before and during our stay)

Pressed that little pizza button on the hotel phone. Put in a quick order (the combo) & got the food super quick & hot. Delivery person was super nice & friendly. Food was very good! If you’re looking for something quick & simple. This is it!
