Where to begin...Well, it's Thornton Park. It's a kitschy little spot with a beautiful view. The name and the photos really didn't prepare us for the interior views. It had some nice touches but it was lacklustre at best. Just a few tables that might seat 25 people inside and maybe another 20 outside. My girlfriends and I went here for Sunday brunch and honestly loved it. There's a parking garage right next to the restaurant ($15) which was nice because we didn't have to do circles around lake eola or walk too far. Keep in mind they do not validate parking but it was fine. We shared the red velvet French toast for appetizer and it was AMAZING, like literally the best French toast I've ever had. Their mimosa special is good, and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food I ordered (healthy bowl) was okay, and I wished it had a little more flavor or elaboration. Everyone else who ordered a sweet brunch (crepes, waffles) was very pleased with their meal.The place is very tiny, so there is minimal seating, and all the smoke from the kitchen stays there, so be ready to leave the place smelling like you've been grilling all day.
