Don Julio's was very nice. The decor and atmosphere felt really clean and not cramped or too much. It was light and airy. The service was great. Our server Antonella was fast and friendly. The chips were hot and fresh. The salsa was tasty. We tried the sampler, which was good. The guac was my favorite part of the sampler. The queso, a close second. We had elotes too, although no one else was a fan but me. The corn was a little cold still, so I would of preferred it hotter. I ordered pork carnitas chimichanga, which was good and shaped like a bag instead of rolled. The meat was delicious. I had cilantro lime rice. It was okay, kind of dry. The only thing is that they give you only a little sour cream and by the time I mixed it in my rice I had none left for the chimichanga bag. Lol. My son got a kids burrito which he was not a fan of because the kids burrito only had chicken in it. I didn't ask what it came with so it's my fault and my kid likes all the stuff in his burrito so once I added some of my lettuce and some queso he tore it up. There were a few things on the menu that looked good so probably going to have to return to try. Finished off with some fried ice cream, which was very good and presentation was definitely as tasty as the ice cream itself. Thank you.

We were suggested to have molcajetes and margaritas, those were extremely delicious the girl who took care of us was lovely, her name is Margarita Centeno. Stop by if you have the chance.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Don Julio.

All I was looking for was a seafood cocktail or something similar. I wasn’t asking for anything complicated, I simply wanted someone to help me identify which item on the menu was the closest to what I was looking for.

Instead of listening, both my server and the manager showed very little interest in understanding my request. What disappointed me the most was that the manager kept insisting that I was mistaken and even suggested that the dish I was describing must have been from another restaurant.

After taking the time to review the menu myself, I realized that what I was looking for was actually very similar to their House Ceviche. Had someone simply listened and taken a minute to help me, the entire situation could have been avoided.

Instead, I ended up ordering a seafood fish dish that cost around $50, which was not what I wanted in the first place.

To make matters worse, the bill automatically included a 20% gratuity. I respect that restaurants have their own policies, but I believe gratuity should reflect the quality of the service provided. In this case, the service did not justify it.

My complaint is not about the food—it’s about the customer service. Listening to customers, asking a few questions, and helping them choose the right dish is part of providing a good dining experience. I hope this feedback encourages the restaurant to improve, because better communication and a willingness to help would have made all the difference.

Front desk needs training. Showed up to do a take out order. No greeting at the front. One guy was in front a computer to the left.. 5 mins later young lady came out and was on her phone. Still no greeting. She looked at me then turned away. 10 mins later, she said may I help you and i asked for rhe menu. She disappeared. By the time I was ready to order, there's guy in front of me , then he said I dont take orders. Go to the left! Ol. Not going back there again

1st timer! Definitely will be back!
