El Mercado de Coronado

This was my family’s favorite quick service at Coronado Springs. The cafeteria style made service quick. I personally loved the turkey burgers while my family enjoyed the regular burgers and pizza. Would definitely come here again.

Inedible breakfast

Food options are very limited & the food itself is very - ehh. Had the worst mickey shaped waffles of my life here (they were dry and flavorless).

This place could be so much better if they just had more options.

Cafeteria style establishment with basic options. Definitely not up to Disney’s typical standard of cleanliness. One morning while ordering coffee, the employee taking my order didn't say one word to me.

It's about like any other institutional food service court in Disney. There are many options, but by the time you choose, stand in line to pay and find a seat it's cold anyway. The castmembers were all friendly and efficient.

Food was great! I had the hot honey chicken sandwich with fries and really enjoyed it. However, the experience was frustrating when it came to allergens.

I have a dairy allergy, so I specifically asked if my sandwich could be made dairy-free. I was told yes, but when it came out, I double-checked about the fried chicken. I was reassured it was dairy-free, but after asking again, the staff went to confirm and realized it actually wasn’t…it had been fried in buttermilk. That kind of misinformation could be really serious for someone with allergies.

I also asked at the ice cream stand if there were any dairy-free options and was told no. Later, I found out that they do offer Dole Whip, which is dairy-free and even listed on the menu. It was disappointing that the staff weren’t aware of their own offerings.

Overall, the food itself was good, but the lack of allergen awareness and clear communication from staff needs improvement.

We visited El Mercado de Coronado specifically for the Mickey waffles, and they were crispy, warm, and a fun way to start the morning. The overall atmosphere was lively and convenient, making it a solid breakfast stop while staying on property.

That said, the wait for coffee was longer than expected, and the staff didn’t feel quite as welcoming compared to what we’ve experienced at other Disney resorts. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it was noticeable.

Overall, still a good spot for a quick and tasty breakfast—especially if you’re craving those classic Mickey waffles—but there’s a little room for improvement when it comes to service.

Stayed at the resort for 5 days. Resort was great staff was wonderful. The food here was some of the worst I had anywhere on Disney property. Just go to the cafe or to an actual restaurant. This is worse than a Highschool cafeteria…. Has to be improved to keep up with standards.

This affordable cafeteria-style restaurant offers a variety of options, including pizzas, pasta sandwiches, and snacks. You can choose from different counters and pay for individual jars of water, soda, or Powerade. It’s a great place to grab a quick meal or snack, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There’s plenty of seating available, so you can relax and enjoy your food.

A smaller food court with various options. Not nearly as big as a mall food court, but if you want to stay on the property but not attend one of the expensive restaurants, you should be able to find something. A kid's menu is available with basic options (chicken tenders, pizza etc ). It's Disney, so a basic meal is going to run you at least $20/person for not much food honestly. I hadn't eaten a proper meal all day on my trip to here, and got a hot honey chicken sandwich, a roast beef au jus, 2 sides and a drink for $42. Quality was OK. Not bad, but nothing special. The sandwich/burger buns were dry (probably sat under a heat lamp for too long). Clean area and friendly staff that will take your tray when you're finished. If you're on a budget, drive somewhere else, but there's a good amount of on-site options.

As a Disney goer for more than 30 years, I can honestly say this was the worse food experience we’ve ever had. Went before the evening rush but not late enough to have the bowls as an option. We we re stuck with just a few non international choices such as the prefab burger they now serve in 99% of Disneys quick service Restaurants. Chewy and bland. Another hand- held was a greasy honey fried chicken sandwich. Down right nasty.
My grandson did enjoy his very small bowl of chicken Alfredo. For $18, he better have.
There are Disney economy resorts that have much better choices. Not to mention you won’t have to deal with the traffic cluster F.
