I thought I was trippin but the more I kept biting the meat just showed a lot of pink. And plantain over cooked. Will not be trying again.

Mediocre. Oxtails too tough. I will try again another day. The inside is gorgeous on a beautiful day they have a patio

The food was wonderful! Seasoned well and very good. I had the jerk chicken with hard dough bread and the hubby had escovitch snapper with double plantains and rice and peas. This was our first visit and we're definitely going back for more

Great food! I ordered all sides which consisted of cabbage, rice, beans and fried plantains. My husband ordered the large oxtail dinner. Fantastic!

I wanted some rice and peas and decided to try this place. I must say, I was not disappointed. First of all, the restaurant is clean with a very nice atmosphere. The lady behind the counter was pleasant and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about their menu. The collard greens and cabbage were seasoned very well. Sometimes you get rice and peas/beans that are very dry. Not this one. The rice and peas were very flavorful even without any gravy. I didn't even miss the meat. I did have the fried dumpling. I didnt care for it but that's just my taste. There were many returning customers. You could see that the cashier knew her customers. Gave you sort of a family feel. I will be returning.

The whiting was bland. The jerk chicken was well seasoned and grilled to perfection. I loved it !! The porridge was also really good. The carrot juice was my absolute favorite!! It was perfect! I also love the outdoor seating area that played authentic reggae music. Great Vibes , Great Place & Great Food!!! I will be going back !!

Hands down the best food and service ever. I hired them to make food for my wedding , they delivered and set up on time, they were so professional and accommodating. There was more than enough food for my guest and we loved it. Ms.Dorothy & Ms.Sophia were so helpful with the editing of my menu. Can't wait to throw an anniversary party and hire them again. -Chicago P Moore

First time here and I will openly admit that I'm probably the first White boy in this restaurant in awhile. But, it's really a shame because this food is perfection and everyone should be eating here! So good! The restaurant is very clean with lots of natural lighting and a large patio to eat outdoors. They play a great selection of Island music which sets a great mood. The cashier was so friendly and happy to greet me. I asked what her favorite dish is and she enthusiastically recommended the Ox Tail. I added the sides of rice and beans and fried plantains. The cashier added one of their fried dumplings as a bonus and I'm glad she did, it was wonderful. But on to the entree. The rice and beans were flavorful. Perfectly cooked with just the right amount of bite. The plantains were a bit green. A little tough but still filled with a lovely aroma and flavor. The Ox tail was amazing! First off, Hats off to the chef. I saw him out working the smoker, taking his time, nurturing the fire to do exactly what he wanted. A true artist at work! It was a real pleasure to see an artist at work. The Ox Tail... let's start with the sauce. A true Espanole sauce is hard to find. This sauce is deeply rich with carrots and other vegetables to support the rich flavor. The meat was so tender that I found myself actually sucking on the bones! I haven't done that since I was a kid! It was cooked perfectly. If you haven't been to this restaurant, shame on you. This is one very special place that does everything correctly!

The food lacked Flavors. The best thing possibly in our takeout boxes was the fried plantains. We were hoping for some Caribbean flavors. One of our party wanted goat. It tasted terrible. Honestly, I wouldn't go back.

This place by far is one of my favorite places for Jamaican food in Orlando. The wait isn't too long and the price is reasonable. So yummy!

I would give this zero stars if I could.Ordered curry goat from here twice now. The meat was consistently dry both times, even when I asked for extra gravy. The plaintains were terrible and the rice was also dry. Overall, the food is lacking much needed flavor- I could barely even taste the curry. It was a waste of$15. I have never eaten at a Jamaican restaurant that served such lackluster food.

The Oxtails were outta sight! Yummy I ordered a half tray Oxtail & 1/2 tray of Fried Whiting. The fried fish was in crumbles. I was going to return but the ride was too long of a drive. I've placed big orders before the 1st time this happened. I come from Brooklyn where Caribbean Food is a staple on every corner. Taste of Jamaica step up your game

This place used to be a recommendation of mine as an option for Carribean food. My recent order was a very bad take on brown stew chicken and the sides were bland. I used to get their food all of time but the quality and taste of the food this last time will make this time ordering or eating from them my last time
